A=5

B=4

C=2

D=1

F=0

This way does not work if you have 4 credit classes & 3 credit class, which alot of ppl do. this is how you do it: multiply the gpa grade(ex: 3.0=b) by credit hours for the class, add all of them together, and divide by how many credits you took.

here is mine: I got an A in a 3 credit class, an A in 3 credit class(again), a B in a 3 credit class, and a B- in a 4 credit class, so 4.0(A)x3=12 + 4.0x3=12 again +3.0(B)x3=9 + 2.7(B-)x4=10.8...so its 10.8+12+12+9=43.8

43.8/13 credit hours = ~3.36 GPA

over here (where i live (d'oh)), we have a system - you get 1 if you know shit, 2 if your lucky and so on (5 is the best), so, if you have these grades - 5, 4, 3, 5, your average is 4.25
