Regional pilots fly more takeoffs and landings than overseas pilots. Major airlines crash too. It has nothing to do with regional vs major, but everything to do with the individual pilots.
it was not pilot fatigue,it was major incompetents of the captain- bleeding off 45 kph not responding to the stick shaker for over 6 seconds, then when the stall prevention sys. forced the stick forward (to gain some airspeed) he pulled BACK-three times! then the flaps were retracted. the captain failed his qual. flight test 6 times before passing. this guy, God rest his soul, he never should have been flying, i don't care where he had to sleep the night before.
@720069mf you are on the money. Some idiots never should fly. It does not come natural to them and their wrong reactions often bring down perfectly good planes. Look at Air France 447. They could have power 85% and pitch up 5 degrees to ride out the pito failures.
