  • so amazing with crap in charts they were making this

  • I want a time machine !!!!!!

  • I can't believe this isn't from now

  • Pretty. Its really modern. I can see where people got their trends.

  • wir sind die roboter?

  • I do not understand how can anybody dislike this composition !!!!

They just don't understand it !!!!!

  • Shades of Hendrix on Electric Ladyland his 1983 track. This is sweet, thank you!

  • Hamma! Wohl mit Abstand die geilste Version von Ruckzuck!

Oberhamma allerdings, dass schon 40 JAHRE alt!

  • EXCELLENT .......................

  • The best version of Ruckzuck has to be the lightning-fast one on the black & white WDR TV video from 1970. Somehow this song just doesn't work without Hutter's two-note keyboard riff.

  • Das geilste ist doch einfach die Tatsache, dass wenn man Kraftwerk nicht so gut kennt, man es garnicht für möglich hält, hier etwas aus dem Jahre 1971 zu hören und dann auch noch aus Deutschland...

  • Great to hear this song played b the band's various lineups. The version from the first LP is Florian on flute and Ralf on keys with Andreas Hohmann on drums. Then there's a WDR TV video with Klaus Dinger on drums. Here Ralf Hutter's keyboard is replaced by Michael Rother's guitar, meaning that this is basically Neu! plus Florian on flute. There's another recording from '75 with Ralf back on keys, Karl Bartos and Wolfgang Flür on homemade electronic percussion, and Florian disting off the flure.

  • @morganfitzp Yea thats correct. Remeber though that Klaus played on the B-side ( Von Himmel Hoch )

  • @glitchtoast How could I forget? "Von Himmel Hoch" is perhaps their best track from the first three albums.

  • @morganfitzp ...I meant DUSTING off the flute, as the band had moved into an almost entirely electronic direction by then.

  • This is a really cool live version. Especially to hear soundboard (albeit radio broadcast) from early days Kraftwerk. Klaus Dinger is a really good drummer. Neu! really benifited from his drumming. his deadbeat sound really setting them apart stylistically from Kraftwerk at the time

  • the beginning reminds me of trans-europe express

  • gee.joy division

  • Thanx for these splendid rarities you upload! I had never heard about NEU! before, and thats fucking great!!

  • you'd never think of putting kraftwerk & guitar riff into the same sentence...

thanks for much for posting, i hadn't researched anything pre-75

  • You can ask him via email as well.

  • An old friend of mine once told me in the early 80s, that his musicteacher that time was a shortime Kraftwerk-bandmember. I wasn´t so interested and didn´t ask for his name, but he told me, it must have been a period without or in the absence of Ralf. But, I´m pretty sure, he referred to this time...late 70 - mid 71.

Now I´m curious too and will ask my friend, when I meet him next year, for the name of this teacher.
