For those of you who seem confused as to what this woman is doing by ululating, i would like to clear the confusion up by saying that: the purpose of uluating in Iraqi culture and the rest of the Arab world is to show happiness and joy. Now why would she be doing this if she is supposedly sad for her brother? Well, she is happy that Bush( who theoretically destroyed her country) got a shoe thrown in his face, and therefore is expressing her joy by ululating. That is all.

That kind of ululation (wailing, trilling sound) is traditional in huge areas of the world, just culturally different from how grief is expressed in N America.
