  • 0:54 BALLERINA CHOP! XD

Yeah... I find it hard to ignore his leg lifting up everytime he swings... looks somewhat ridiculous -_-

Until someone tells me that standing on one leg actually helps maximize the force of the blow in the arm, I will maintain that it's ridiculous.

With no intended offence to anybody, btw. I don't intend to seem like an ass.

  • Slayer!

  • who would win in a fight, snow or jamie?

  • @highlandcommando Jamie, and very easily, Jon seems so good because a lot of the nights watch have never fought before while Jamie is one of the best knights in westeros with much more experience

  • @highlandcommando Jamie. Hands down. Of course Jon seems to be an amazing fighter, as the imp pointed out, he's one of the few (if not the ONLY new recruit) who has actually been trained before coming to the wall. I'm sure Jon is a great fighter comparatively even amongst trained fighters, but Jamie is to sword combat as Michael Jordon is to basketball... so Jon would prob get his ass KICKED.

  • @Teleisawesome But isn't Jaime missing his right hand? although I guess I've only read half the series so far...xD

  • @highlandcommando Jaime of course, but only with his right hand intact. Jaime is probably one of the best warrior in the Seven Kingdoms up there with Barristan Selmy and Garlan Tyrell.

  • I wonder if he has the diabteeus

  • ...

    Thats not how it happened!!!

    DX

  • the bastard is in love

  • If I hadn't already read the books/watched the show, that face he makes at 0:36 makes it look like hes going to kick everyone ass.

  • Haah I love Sam he's soo Chubba!

  • @017Jodie I know he's adorable, like a giant squishy teddy bear lol

  • I love how EVERYBODY including John cringes before the fight. They know and he knows that John can take them all down and nobody actually wants to do it.

  • Slayer!

  • When Sam made that face at 0:35 I thought he was just going to go ape shit and kill someone or something :P

  • omg i lol'd so hard on the third hit sams scream was priceless when he was on the ground..what a fat fucking craven

  • @keeplisted Lol, Sam is a fat fuck, but he's no craven... not when it counts.

  • @keeplisted read the third book and then see if he is coward or not

  • @vicentefrpwn He still is, Sam was half-mad from the cold and exhaustion and wouldn't be able to do what he did again if he wasn't in the ideal situation.

  • i love sam. he just seems like a good friend lol. I didnt read the books unfortunatly but i heard his development is interesting. Can't wait :D

  • @oxycodo I listen to the aduiobooks which is just as good in my opinon (roy dotrice) yeah sams development is really interesting and some of his chapters in feast for crows are some of the best in the book!

  • if you look at Sam right before he "fights", he looks like he's ready to cut a bitch. Then, he turns into one. still, Sam's the man

  • always makes laugh how Thorne says Bastard

  • I imagined samwell as...well more like pilsbury dough boy. Fat but also adorable in a pudgy kind of way. It was nice to have something like samwell in game of thrones which is...well not adorable

  • it seems as though snow should be played by orlando bloom

  • @killerrey Ewww!

  • wish they included the dialogue of "I wouldve seen them, I would've seen them a long way off"

  • "Looks like the bastard's in love." I would be too, if I knew John Bradley-West in real life.

  • Jon Snow is the Best :)

  • Jon Snow vs Jaime Lannister, make it happen!!!

  • Can anyone not help but like Sam?

  • @TheODonnellkid I think Sam's likeability grows on you as he gains confidence and stops feeling sorry for himself. I have talked to the actor John Bradley-West who plays Sam via Twitter. John's a great bloke he's very nice, really funny, and doesn't take himself to seriously. I highly recommend following him on Twitter.

  • Watching this scene was very uncomfortable. When Sam admits to the other boys that he is a coward, was like seeing one of my worst nightmares in my teenage years being played out before my eyes in which the name calling by his bullies becomes reflected in Sam's own views on his self worth. I was thinking throughout this scene 'why are you putting up with all of this BS?'. Sam's gradual transformation as a character from this low point has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the series.

  • He must have cared for his lady love to kick their asses like that!

  • Where's the hate? Where is the loathing? Bring back Thorne the way he's meant to be played. We all loved him just about as much as Joffery.

  • @attaia They made Thorne a bit more human (as in, he has legitimate reasons for being so hard on recruits) for the show. I think its' good, because it makes Jon less of a Mary Sue (everyone at the Wall comes to love him, except for stereotypical evil trainer guy).

  • "all you gotta do is get pass the bastard"

    EASY FOR YOU TO SAY!

  • Thorne in book and show is a nasty, bitter prick.

  • Sam looks like a stereotypical World of Warcraft player...(lol)

  • I love Jon. In books and in tv show.

  • Sam's POV is kinda enjoyable

  • STOP BITCHING ABOUT THE BOOK PLEASE

  • I swear if he kills of sam I will cry.

  • The boss is pissed that he tried to humiliate Jon Snow and it didn't work.

  • Samwell Tarly has got to be my favorite character in the book, sure he's a coward here but he soon develops to be a a courageous individual, though he does not think it himself.

  • For what it's worth, I think GoT was actually made as close as it could in accordance with the books to the movies, can't say the same for most of the "story movies" that have come out... Can't wait for Clash of Kings - anyone know when it comes out?

  • @frankwallace36 I heard it'll come out in spring next year. Not so sure though :)

  • @violet2490 it will

  • Samwell Tarly will actually survive and lead a colorful life as a loyal and brave Night's Watch, even slaying fierce warriors.

  • @morethanever100 Sam the Slayer

  • ser piggy!

  • The When I first saw this his look at 0:36 made me think "He's gonna turn out to be an amazing fighter, what a twist" Then he gets slapped by a sword and starts crying. He's still awesome though!

  • @stepoutofthevechile Yeah I thought he was gonna be a beast... lol... Jon Snow is ferocious though...

  • Oh my God, Thorne really looks like Father Jack from the Father Ted series.

  • Ser Piggy actually...

  • No worries, he will soon be known as "Sam the Slayer" ;)

  • @crusaderknight007 Oh FUCK yeah. unfortunately, that'll be at the very least in the 3rd season. I heard they're splitting a storm of swords into two.

  • @behrooz4 That's actually good, because they'll be able to put even more details into the series, details that are critical

  • @behrooz4 That's actually good, because they'll be able to put even more details into the series, details that are critical

  • @crusaderknight007 cant wait for that!

  • Thanks for posting this. When i watched the original episode, somehow this clip was left out. I was wondering why they didn't show it...

  • @brodie7891 I argue he was way LESS awkward here. The actor's pretty spot on, really.

  • They really should've given Thorne more of his original dialogue in this scene.

  • @frankeyyankee3 Seeing how the show has tried to make Thorne more sympathetic than he was in the books, what WAS his original dialog in this scene?

  • @ShadowSonic2 Its hard to make Thorne any more likable in my opinion he fits as a typical douchebag

  • @frankeyyankee3 Whose thorn again? And how does this scene go in the book if you don't mind me asking?

  • @hazeddon basicaly thorne calling sam ever name under the sun and that its jons new lady love

  • @tutfut Thanks. Gotta love thorne, the part where he was talking about when they went across the wall was just priceless.

  • @hazeddon yer got to love how thorne is just sutch a basterd

  • @hazeddon Just a bit of difference in the words, dood.

  • @thwguy read the books, sam isnt that awkward

  • black puddin's fucking delicious

  • There aren't any women at the wall, but in the background at 2:02 that looks like a woman from the back. Must be a guy with really long hair...

  • Nice :) really like this bit ha poor Sam
