@MandaKaye17 Her first album was covers only. Her 3 other albums. Mind, body & soul, Introducing Joss Stone and Colour Me Free do contain 1 or 2 covers on them but the rest are her own songs that she written.

Her 4th album LP1 comes out 26th this year :D

This old timer was a teenager when Otis and Grand Funk Railroad did their versions. Those versions were great. THIS version is great.

Each artist has their own interpretation of a song. Natrually, some people will have a favorite version and like it best. That's cool.

To me, Joss is the very best of the new generation and is VERY underrated, because today's tastes do not appreciate her kind of style.

She's fantastic and is my new fave, since Janis is gone. Peace.

She's a really good singer but I have to agree with ponyman55 after hearing Otis and Grand Funk RR.... if we hadn't heard them first I bet we would like it more.

It's not her fault at all - she does it great job, but it's not the same tempo, arrangement etc.

and the band doesn't get a chance to get beyond the basic rap groove (!)
