  • this is really good, i enjoyed it all the time, some great music to add the atmosphere, basically keep up the good work

  • eh.

@stuntz99: On the contrary to what you said. This video is better then most amature videos ive seen. Althought the humor needs some work, its a relatively good concept.

  • Well done. When the three of them came together in the hall in slow motion - You pulled it off perfect, and the girl actor looked like a pro in a full feature film. Great use of sound - edited well. The script was good for a 48 challenge, and I liked the ending - comical. Thanks.

  • well done, i like the editing. could even try out one of those online contest too.

  • yeah like yobi film contest

  • This movie sucks...and is half ass in the attempt of the western genre w/ in the 48hr film comp. Sound seems good, looks visually pretty good ...but totally seems out of place to the genre. It's easy to spin each genre into a comedy that turns out just silly. In my opinion you need to stick to a more serious attempt or effort. We did it w/ our first film which, we drew the spy genre, but the film turn out to be our worst film. Even though funny in spots, it was just...bad.

  • This is fabulous constructive feedback and support from a fellow 48hour film producer. Comments like, "it sucks," and "half ass" are true indicators of what the 48 hour film experience is all about - fun, collaboration, and meeting new friends. Thank you, Friend, for your comments. We will be sure to incorporate your feedback into our next project.

  • Did you have to compose and record the soundtrack?

Is it possible to use already created copyright-free soundtracks?

  • beautiful!

  • That was GREAT! I'm glad you won the award, that was very well put together.

  • Bug-Juice Productions from St. Louis, MO here...Very well done, I always like to see a team that thinks outside the box in regards to the assigned genre...brilliant!! Way deserving of the awards won!

  • Really well made movie. It's always good to see such a fun movie being made in 48 hours.

  • thats great! good job!

  • Perfect, well done!

  • funni

  • sound was very good.

  • THat was a great 48 hour video. We just did one this past July in New Orleans. We unluckily chose Fantasy. Hard genre to do with 48 hours.

  • Ahaha. Wonderous.

  • Inventive Western... Great camera work man, kinda slow though. The umbrellas were funny.

  • Well Done. Was this the 48 hr. cut, or did you have time to re-edit?

  • essentially all the edits/timing are the same. we did fix two technological glitches in this version and a mistake in the credits, but it's 99% the same as the 48hr cut.

  • fun movie

  • sweet vid! i wana see this featured!

  • hahhaha nice.. funny too

  • Okay, now THAT was worth watching. Good story and buildup, geat sound effects. Love the ending anticlimax.

  • i love it its just perfect i love the use of sound effects and visuals oh wow!

  • Hey heroes! New Zealand gets their 48 hour film festival cracking soon, got any tips and tricks?

  • #1 change your youtube name. Might be an accurate representation of your current state, but it freaks me out.

#2 Come up with some basic possible ideas before the competition that might work across multiple genres.

    #3 Keep it simple.

  • more input:

Secure good actors and locations prior to the event. Build your story around that.

  • LOL

  • I reallllly liked this. I liked Baxter. Good job.

  • I mean that next to 12 million videos about farting, belching and home filmmaker attempts at slapstick laughtrack TV sitcom-wannabe softcore porn videos, your video might look a bit like it's putting on airs. Hahahaha. Shades of "Idiocracy", you're the smartest video in a room full of fartsniffers.

  • That's ok. I lost my sense of smell years ago.

  • Well then, you're prepared for Hollywood (I left a lot of urine stains in the doorways while I was homeless there).

  • That was hilarious! I agree with marquisdejolie, though, it IS too advanced for YouTube. Great job and keep 'em comin' partner! lol

  • Thanks! We just shot our entry into this year's 48 hour philly film competition. It screens April 1, and we'll be posting it here shortly after that.

  • Nicely done! Too advanced for YouTube fare, though.
