If you don't mind me asking, what do you have into it cost wise? I'm looking to build one, but only need about half the size you are doing there. I'm wanting it for guitar bodies and necks.
I am working on my own design of Patricks ideas as well. It doesn't look like you built a torsion box underneath it. Is the table flat and level? I was going to run the single X motor inside the gantry like the 2x4 version 4.0 on his site. I don't have the correct control box from Xylotex to run the slave on the X. Nice job though. Do you have dxf files for this machine?
with this machine you can make a design in any autocad program and mounting a router in the machine you can cut, almost any material that the router can drill in. take a look to my other videos and you will se one of the multiple applications
