I always found the sonic characteristics of this album interesting. Like he's in an empty saloon telling you a story. The order of the songs makes sense for telling about a lost love.
This is in 1981 and actually is one of the Sinatra's albums that i never liked very much. I didnt really like his vocals except in "The Gal that Got Away"/"It Never Entered My Mind" and "A Long Night". It was the album that really showed who the late Sinatra will be, mainly in concerts. But as always, even in these recordings, he showed how talented singer he was.
