When I was 13-15 I used to skate the banks and other spots downtown with Brian. Hes a actually a really cool dude in person too, sorta took me under his wing for a while. I found it amazing how in 1999-2000, this dude was banging out better tricks then the majority of pros. I remember on a low ledge off the seaport, switch kickflip tailslides. He used to push him self physically to the limit, for real. Skating with fractures and whatnot lol

Wenning is a legend. I grew up in Jersey and watched him make it. He was the most consistent skater around. He had a great attitude and helped all of us younger kids out growing up. Don't hate on Wenning.

@LeandroAragonsk8 - The only way to make money is skateboarding is to enter competitions that award money, try to get a promotion from some clothing company, drink company by posting video's. They send you money as long as you keep posting narly videos and getting views .. Try out for an X-Game .. Participating in skating shows, work at skating stores, open your skate shop or work in skate shop fixing peoples boards and designing custom boards and stuff. It's not so easy.

You must be known by a vast group of people and that will all lead to money. Money is key to every society on this planet. It's how we function. Don't be put down by the people saying ''don't go for money or a sponsorship'' just don't let THAT be what it's all about for you, it's all about skating and having fun. I'd love to be able to make something out of skateboarding some day but if it meant hassle and losing it's fun having to work harder and harder then I wouldn't like it.
