Vancouver is uber safe. Fighting boys from Ontario who visit are the usual suspects in these nasty fights that do go down. lol, the fights I have witnessed are all the same...brown gangster wannabees from Surry call guys with tight shirts fags, Ontario boys are tough and dont take shit soooooo, behave.

Vancouver is amazing and is worth the price, as a Canadian of many generations I do stand out as a minority.

So yeah,just noticed ur from hungary

30$ an hour? without a education(university) almost impossible,construction jobs can get you to 30$ an hour without education.(even if u have university in hungary,u have to spend years and years for Canada to recognize ur education)TRUST ME

It's a wonderfull city to live in,it really is amazing,every day is truly a joy.

However some drawbacks are taxes,which are quite big.(for 30K a year its 24%,over 35k its 32% and so on till 49.5%)

condo is about 1000$ rent downtown

But u can live in ridiculously amazing places such as White Rock with 800$ rent for 2 bedroom(everything included,cable,internet all that)

like i said,DO NOT EXPECT 30$ an hour,expect 10$ an hour.

When u arrive,get any job u can and look for other jobs ONLY after u have a job so u have some income

ALSO,u need to learn English PERFECTLY,ACCENT is the key that will get you anywhere,if Canadians dont know you're foreign then ur just one of them

I moved from Romania with my parents and i have seen many FAIL at imigrating ,the mentality in Canada is centuries ahead of Europe.

If you are looking for a good, happy life,then Vancouver is awesome,if you are looking for money,go to Alberta

( 80% of the people i know in Canada that imigrated FAILED or are living on goverment because they dont know english )

Also car insurance will be a min 100-200$/month

you can live by yourself with just 1 job and still save money,..
