Clarification: Didn't she ingest the stuff accidentally? She was only 2 1/2 years old. She took it at home. The father doesn't blame scientology for her death. But he does wish to hold them accountable for how he and his wife were treated afterward and esp. for being pushed to lie to the coroner about why they had the stuff in the house in the first place.

Clarification of Clarification: The case remains to be tested in the same courts that designated this cult a religion in the first place in Australia. Naturally, the parents (who were Scientologists, after all) wish to be divested of blame and culpability legally and hence it was all an "accident". Actually, the case has already been to the Coroner's court. So, it has been tested. Are you saying you know something about the incident? I took a bunch of tablets when I was a toddler and they weren't "given" to me. I found them and took them. It happens.

Coroner courts determine cause of death in Australia and can attribute blame. It is for other legal courts that determine criminality and actual legal culpability. We grew up in the 70s and there were a lot of things about - grass, coke, ground glass - yet our parents prevented us from ingesting such things and they DIDN'T force us to attend some church or cult! Yes it was a mysterious "purification" drug given by the "church" to the girl. It poisoned her and her parents were convinced to cover it up. Don't accept anything to eat or drink from Scientologists!!!
