Okay first, GH3 has pull-offs on downward slides (and hammer-ons on upward slides), whereas RB doesn't. (Harmonix era GH didn't have them either)

GH3 has too many three-button chords, in my opinion.

GH3 has HOPO's after long notes. (I know RB2 does, but not as many)

So, basically, I think the Rock Band charts make more sense.

Since when does fun not matter in videogames?? Isn't that why videogames were made in the first place?? I'm as big a GH fan as the next guy but Rockband is way more entertaining and over much more fun.

before you go accusing rock band of stealing any ideas, they didn't. Get your facts straight. First Rock Band is made from Harmonix, the original producers of GH. They owned GH right all they way up to GH2 or GH80;s don't know which was last. Activision (neversoft) then purchased guitar hero from Harmonix and made GH3. Harmonix then went on to make Rock Band. Nobody stole anybody's ideas b/c Harmonix was the one who began with GH and separated when Activision didn't want to branch out.

Fret button colors cannot be changed because Guitar Hero controllers are compatible with Rock Band, so they have to match.

Difficulty =/= Enjoyment

Maybe for a few people who mostly reside on the internet. But you difficulty people don't get it through your head that the reason the GH3 charts are hated is because THEY AREN'T ACCURATE! I think accuracy should take precedence before difficulty.

And Neversoft listened. The difficulty between GHWT and RB2 songs is about the same now.

guitar hero is just friggin' impossible.

all you want is a realistic version of the game that you don't have to spend your life to practice but is still as much fun.

Rock Band gives you just that.

all I want is a bit of fun in a decent rhythm game

btw i play real guitar and guitar hero is nothing like it, so i'd rather play on that than lose technique by practising on a plastic guitar...

...and yes don't tell me you don't have to practise to do well in this song on guitar hero

Everybody thinks that the extra parts are bass parts, but they're not. GH3 squishes the Rhythm Guitar and Slide Guitar together.
