The reason the couple couldn't hear the"strange sound" is because you were not close enough to them for them to hear the recording of your "strange sound". If there was a sound that loud enough for you hear then anyone could have heard it clearly especially on a cold night. The "strange sound" of course was only centered around you which make it a fake..

All of these videos are bullshit...These people are making the noises with pvc tubing and a radio speaker thats not tuned to any channel..Its white noise through a tube, try it folks..Funny how the rest of the neigbors are just as happy to stay inside and notice nothing, because it is nothing...Try it yourself but with pvc and not cardboard, the larger the diameter the eerier the sound and you can crank these things up too..

Mate, recommend you call the power company/distributor in your area, that sounds like a transformer which is about to give out, they can often give off a very high pitched 'whine' noise that oscilates like what you are reporting, the osciliation can be transmitted by local power lines, it's a very odd effect. A friend of mine is a sparky (aussie slang for electrician) and this is a symptom of a failing transformer.
there is a video that talks about people dubbing and creating there own sounds onto youtube videos...the video from costa rica and other areas are heard from coast to coast, haven't heard it here though...try another one.. :P

@popsicle589 I checked out the dog whistle app on the Android Market and it's similar, but the noise when we hear it varies in how loud it is. It's gone from sounded like a turbine or jet engine to real faint like a ringing in your ears.
It is quite different from the other strange noises but who knows. Did you call 911? It is really nasty sound. Your government is making all kind of experiments, it might be sth like that.

this high pitch sound is at such a rate and frequency, with sweep starting high and getting lower with the sudden clip ending points to some constant "beaming" from some man-made electronic generation source - there is information regarding sites where "beams" are being generated for weather modification, etc - you may try contacting dutchsinse who has documented the existence of these sites and the "beams" which are "visible" at weather tracking sites - the sound affects every cell of your body

Sounds like northern lights, because of the M9 (or was it the M3 one?) class flare that was striking the earth at the time. See this video and you can tell that sounds are quite similar: =eHvdZdsIZxg

I live in Michigan and I only heard it once. But the one I heard was a much deeper bellowing. Everything vibrated. The ground vibrated and I heard it from inside my pickup truck. The truck also vibrated. I had the stereo on, and the vibration was what caught my attention, then I heard the hum. Really strange, Thought it might have been a mild earth quake?

Sightings are breaking record numbers all around the world. what we are privileged to be alive to see is the signs mentioned by Jesus Christ in Matthew CH. 24, Luke 21:25-28. To name but a very few. All of these videos are bullshit...These people are making the noises with pvc tubing and a radio speaker thats not tuned to any channel..Its white noise through a tube, try it folks..Funny how the rest of the neigbors are just as happy to stay inside and notice nothing, because it is nothing...Try it yourself but with pvc and not cardboard, the larger the diameter the eerier the sound and you can crank these things up too..

i've heard something very similar here in appalaicha. outside of work (i work night shifts) i've heard a very very high pitched sound lasting sometimes for hours. it doesn't change like this one does, just remains constant. thanx for posting; if i can, i'll get some vid of what i'm hearing here. cheers

Mate, recommend you call the power company/distributor in your area, that sounds like a transformer which is about to give out, they can often give off a very high pitched 'whine' noise that oscilates like what you are reporting, the osciliation can be transmitted by local power lines, it's a very odd effect. A friend of mine is a sparky (aussie slang for electrician) and this is a symptom of a failing transformer.

But the noise is very loud and intense.. if this noise is able to be created, why could it not be coming from somewhere else other then YouTube? I have another video that was posted in July of the same noise, people said It's the cicada bugs, but I know how those sound and this is nowhere near how they sound.

I get ringing in my ears really bad sometimes but much of that is from being exposed to loud music throughout the years as a musician. But the sounds are similar but much louder!

Very strange, where at in Mi.? I'm in lower Mi. Detroit area, and I've caught this 2 or 3 times however, I have heard this in my head many times, it lasts between 3 to 4 minutes here.

I live in a city in Los Angeles California about 30 minutes away from downtown LA .And last week every body in my high School and and my younger brothers junior High School were talking about strange noises in the sky with the same sound/ description that you have giving and also the same as all of the other videos here on YouTube .There is definitely something strange going on .I would recommend anybody interested in researching a possible explanation to research HAARP here on youtube

@popsicle589 I checked out the dog whistle app on the Android Market and it's similar, but the noise when we hear it varies in how loud it is. It's gone from sounded like a turbine or jet engine to real faint like a ringing in your ears.

It wasn't really stopping or starting, it was more like rolling off to the distance..like an echo or like it was sweeping across the area to a point, the Mic on the camera isn't able to pick that up.
