slingbox is a piece of equipment available at best buy and other electronics places you hook it too your cable/satellite system at home then download to your phone. the sling is about 200 the download is 30. there are no re-curring fees once you buy that is it the only other thing you should know is that you have to have a phone tthat runs windows mobile pc palm or symbian and those phones are not cheap (expect to spend around 4-500 But i love my sling and yes, it really works
