Yeah, I liked that in Oblivion and Fallout 3 but for story-driven games like Final Fantasy or Pokemon, I prefer a more structured approach. But everyone has different tastes, so whatever. =D

@BigBossSonic ...And the Layton games. They also developed Dragon Quest VIII, which was awesome, and also Dragon Quest IX. They also developed Rogue Galaxy (PS2), Inazuma Eleven and Jeanne D'Arc (PSP).

They're also developing Ni no Kuni, a Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service) game for the PS3 and DS... and it looks amazing! I might import both versions just because I love the overall style.

I think they're more famous for their Dark Cloud games. also Fun fact: many things in WKC remind me of dark cloud like the georama, the clowns in the beginning in balandor and some characters totally remind me of dark cloud...like osmond(osmund in WKC) or that evil sidekick..dunno name >_>

They actually announced a sequel to this game at TGS 2009. "White Knight Chronicles II: Awakening of Light and Darkness" or something like that? Apparently takes place a year after this game. There's a trailer on GameTrailers, I think. The song playing in the trailer is "Shards of Time ~Chronicle Love~".

True. I believe when the first game was announced, Level 5 did say it was going to be a trilogy. They just announced the second game at TGS '09, though.

Hopefully we won't have to wait as long as we did for "Ancient Heartbeat" to get "Awakening of Light and Darkness"! :)

Oh definitely, just a few things I'd like changed (Or at least Patched up) one thing that I do want fixed: fix the Censor: I wouldn't mind the censor so much, if if wasn't blocking out completely innocent words, including some of the Prefab messages like "Congrats". But the fact that you can use Voice chat, makes it rather... pointless.

I agree. I think voice chat was a new feature implemented into the international version, as the original Japanese release didn't have it. I'm guess they left that in without thinking it'd be pointless.

Perhaps this was the game where Level 5 chose to toy around with the possibilies of online play. In the other games, they'll probably implement features better.
