  • I really like deja vu, I have never been able to beat it, but its cool trying to play as a detective after all those years growing up pretending to be one!

how heavy is that hogans alley? open it up see if you have a famicom converter inside! that is one of those games that could have one in it.

  • but i love your "long drawn out shittie" videos :(

  • @therealAgerbon - LOL! Thanks Dan! I'm glad you like 'em. Hahahaha.

  • I'm One Of Those Wierd People Who Actually Enjoy Watching Long Video's.

  • @HaxAras - LOL Well this one was kinda long. I just feel like i'm yammering on and on sometimes and I get nervous that someone's gonna call me out on it like "Hey dickfuck, we have other things to do today! Jesus man, just say you're shit and get off the internet!"

    Hahahaha (nervous laughter).

  • I am actually quite concerned about ACTA, ISP's will be forced to monitor their users, 3rd party liability for ISP's. Its going to come down hard on the open source community too which is another big concern of mine. This treaty infringes upon other laws in the member nations.

  • @KieranD212 - It 's a huge concern. It should be a huge concern to everyone as it has serious implications and raises serious questions about how our democracy works if these sorts of things are being negotiated in secret.

  • @youtubasoarus totally agree, governments are not willing to disclose the actual details of the agreement, i hope MEPs vote it down in the European Parliament as then it will never come into effect.

  • I have never come across Quake III: Arena for Linux. Will have to be on the lookout for one. :3

  • @troy2062 - Yup, i've never seen anything like it. But then ID Software has always been pretty up there with their releases.

  • Man I like what you are saying about the games. I love being able to have physical games. Great Video. Great Channel.

  • @okcmallrat - Thanks man! Much appreciate your comment. I also much rather prefer physical games and stuff. Digital download feels like you might as well download a freakin' ROM or something (for an emulator).

  • Ah Deja Vu! That was a great game man but its a short game if you have a faq to go off of and you beat it. I know cos I beat that game and Uninvited which was another game in the trilogy(the first being "Shadowgate") and they were both fun games but they were also "old school point 'n click" so if you like that kind of stuff then you'll have a blast with it!

Do you plan on taking apart the Hogan's Alley to see if it has a converter in it or no? Just wondering

    take it easy man

  • @Amisbro - I think i'm going to just see how far I can get in that game without a guide. Not sure how i'll do. And I had opened the game to clean the contacts and case and it didn't have any converter. just the (very small) PCB. Thanks for commenting man!

  • Some people do sell there Steam games, Especially now as in December Steam had there games at up to 75% off so alot of people filled there steam accounts with games and then now are selling them at higher prices, mind you it is illegal.

As for the Ghost in the shell OST, I have it myself and is awesome, I love the track Inner universe.

  • @wolfieCLANwop - Haven't heard of that yet. I think that's cool if you CAN sell your steam games, i'm just not sure how that'd work. I think you can transfer your whole account, but not individual games. That's where the whole thing rubs me the wrong way -- you don't own it, you have no real say over the games. Valve could cut you off if they want and i've heard of it happening. Not something i'd like to investigate. And yeah, love this GITS OST sound track.

  • Great pickups James, I have those Incubus albums both brilliant. Make Yourself is fantastic, that came out when I 1st got into the metal scene and the whole nu-metal thing was happening, happy times :) Yep that was exaclly the point of the vid, i'm sure it might not have been clear to everyone and some may not have read my description but hey you can't please everyone lol

  • @Snestastic - Yeah I really got into them a while back. Maybe a few years ago. Heard some of their stuff. I had these albums for a while and finally found them. I have the SCIENCE album that I got off iTunes or whatever that someone gave me a birthday card for (hate that damned thing!).

  • Very cool pick ups

  • @75bp - Thanks man!

  • Hello

Just wondering what you use to clean the pcb if you don't mind saying?

  • @Sedifet - I use regular rubbing alcohol. Mine is 75% but i'd recommend 99% if you can find it. Mind you that's just on the contacts themselves. I don't generally drench them though, just a dab on a clean rag and wipe it down. If there's some grime on there (usually there is) I use a regular red pencil eraser and gently rub that crap off and then wipe it down with the alcohol again. Then I make sure it's dry and reassemble. Looks like new when done.

  • @youtubasoarus OK thanks, will give it a go

  • The clipless carts are the so called 5 screw carts that are actually worth a little more than the ones with the 3 screws and the clips on top. The 5 screw-games actually were from the earlier game production runs.

    Cool pickups.

  • @markvergeer - Thanks man. Yeah, I've heard a lot of the older Gyromite 5-screw carts have that converter in them because of a production issue early on where they didn't have enough North American copies so they used Japanese copies with a converter board.
