how about? 2 types of concrete have different types of limits its either xc1,xc2,xc3,xs1,xs2,xs3,xd1,xd2,xd3. for all of these there are a seperate table each for 100 or 50 years. and each of these tables there is a list of different cover values 15,20,25....60. So basically my lecturer wants me to be able to make a working programme where you input for example xc2,cover 15,at 100 years and the limit would just pop up...I have all the limits i just need to know what formula to use?
I would like to say that I've enjoy watching/learning excel from your clips tremendously. It is really helpful for an excel inept person like me! Thank you very much and keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! I took an office assistant course that was supposed to teach me enough about Excel to get a job. Well, I took an interview with an Excel test and I knew only basics, and I KNOW I studied hard. I know my textbook wasn't very good.
All of your videos are awesome! I was a dummy when it came to Excel, but now I am confident thanks to you. Thanks for your time and your workbook!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!
I've learned so much from Excels Fun,thought i'd let you know that i'm downloading the series all over again so my 70 year old father can learn it!
I use them for making staff rotas and time sheets for work and i've made the most amazing Flexi-time sheet for my wifes work. It calculates her hours, and if she goes a minute over or under in any week we can find it, It allows her to know if she owes or is owed hours, and i can track it for a whole year so a big thanks.
Hey, periwink, did you notice that I re-did the Basics Series? You watched, the old 14 video Basics Series, right? If so, how do you like this new 23 video Basics Series?
Also, this video, Excel Basics #5: Formulas Operators and Math, is quite useful, especially the list of how Excel Evaluates formulas. Excel does not just have to deal with PEMDAS, but also : (colons), , (commas), > (greater than) and more!
