I can't say that I'm 100% certain of Ron Paul, because of the fact that we need to change more than half of Congress as well as vote him in on top of my limiting trust of any type of government official, but I hope he stays true and the public votes for him in staggeringly high numbers.

China and Russia, are the only "real" threats to America, they are still behind 20 to 50 years in military advancement. Even at equal strength any invasions across the pacific would require a huge investment to reach the U.S and fight on U.S soil. It would be completely and totally insane to use nuclear weapons or weapons of mass destruction due to M.A.D (mutually assured destruction) The U.S still has the U.N and Nato backing it up... We don't need to worry at all about anything but ourselves.

I support Ron Paul but how can people be against some entitlement programs? What if someone becomes completely disable, but it's not something that will kills them but instead disable them for life? For instance someone I know got MS at 21 and now they are completely disabled but will live close to a full life and would starve and not have anywhere to live without disability payments..I think many people who want to cut these programs would change their mind the instant they become perm disabled

@alvisc2002 I don't recall talking about investments here but my opinion is silver is a very good investment right now, i bought some time ago and its gone up significantly. I think both gold and silver will continue to rise significantly, the trick is to buy it without it being registered because the governments have confiscated it before, and have it in your position, not paper, if there is some type of collapse gold or silver on paper will become worthless as well.
