I hate the door close alarms. That seems like such an annoyance to anyone who works near by for long periods of time.

I don't know if it's just because of how the doors operate or what, but I like freight elevators. If I lived in a high-rise building with one of these, I would never use the main elevators. :-)

Using the emergency bell for the door close warning just seems like a bad idea, I guess if you rang long enough someone would realize you were stuck, at least there's a phone.

if you were to get stuck in here. it would not be good, you would have to ring the bell for a LONG time for someone to realize the elevator has stopped working..

The guy reminds me of the time I got off the Otis manual freight elevator and a guy walked up just as I had gotten the inner gate open. Another time, a guy surprised the hell out of me on the modernized freight elevator when I was on the 4th floor. He got in just seconds before I pressed the button to go back down. Luckily he did not seem to care or else I would be in trouble!
