  • for thouse of us that know about hms royal oak/sunk in 1939 bye the germans/this is for the famileys of the people that survived and the people that were lost

  • Music like this makes one feel amazed that beauty in the art of music can be so grand

  • Haha... I just finished listening to this hardcore bit of music and returned to this and when I pressed play, I actually felt a sigh of relief come over me! :L

  • It could be 'cause i'm part Scottish, but flip me, it shouldn't matter where you're from.. Everyone should feel connected to this beautiful piece of music. *sigh* :)

  • I never saw the movie but when the strings come in I get so sad, Its a hard feelin to describe but I love this song

  • En mann som ga alt for frihet av hans land. Blod og ære og ofrer.

  • How can you not be moved by this music...... beautiful . romantic . but sad that so few get it! x

  • great the best music ever

  • excellent music video, this was one of the most awesome movies ever made.

  • braveheart is a movie and has nothing in common with the history of scotland! any more than a freek called jesus walked all over the mid east sprouting propaganda bullshit about his old man being a god!

  • @mctantrum yeah it does,,,,,,xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • This score should have won James Horner the Academy Award, not his trashy Titanic score.

  • mel gibson is a fucking genius

  • @droga187 yea i agree and he is not a racist he is a true artist with romantic views on life and history and is not afraid to express them! especially when he is pissed up on the phone!

  • love this soundtrack, classic, timeless

  • i can identify with robert the bruce in the movie, he's done mistakes that ruined his life, so did i. hopefully i will one day fight for what wallace fought, like the bruce in the end

  • THIS is a masterpiece. Shakes my body from head to toe

I starded acting because of this, it gave me so much... Love, safety, and made me believe! Cause life isnt sunshine! Here I am now and still doing theater, and i am still developing for each day! Thank u, and yes we are alike, and we absolutely do share same thoughts! take care!

  • film shots in ireland..

  • ENGLAND

  • @NottinghamForest22 fuck england the movie braveheart is all about scothland

  • ....

  • One of, if not THE most captivating and poignant pieces of cinematic music ever devised. Utterly, compellingly, mesmerizing. Makes me want to explore the highlands every time I listen to it. Scotland is an amazing country and I love this film with an absolute passion. Beautiful! From a (stupid) scouser!

  • "FREEDOM!"

  • Freedom, to those who don't have it it's more valuable than gold.

  • Mel Gibson has tried to tell us in so many movies to covet our freedoms and to not let the tyrannical powers defeat us.....we must fight for freedom.....it is everything.......

  • I love this song, I listen to it while going to sleep , or just to relax -3

  • Beautiful! x

  • the most beautiful song ever <3

  • people who have no wish to keep anyone within the UK against their will even if they could lawfully do it - which is doubtful. The people who need convincing are the majority population in Northern Ireland - not the English. The English didn't even get a say in the said referendums but normally support for a united Ireland is stronger in England than it is in Ireland itself. Folk should live in the reality of the present rather thandwelling on past wrongs. Just saying!

  • ok i know that's a love theme, but i want this song to be my funeral song

  • england has done enough damage. remember cornwall? please get out of Ireland the greatest country on earth.

  • @jlcoury23 "please get out of Ireland the greatest country on earth." Obviously unlike the silly stuff about Cornwall there is a real issue. But surely you know that there was referendums in both Northern Ireland and the Republic and the vast majority of Irish people voted YES to the principle that the future of Northern Ireland is up to the people of Northern Ireland. As long as they wish to stay in the UK they can do so. As soon as they want to leave they can do so. Why pick on the English

  • wicked mind,,loolzz

  • @MrAlexandreDrouin - cannot argue with that! Well said

  • Absolute master piece .. that Scottish lass is breath- taking.

  • @freehee2 If your talking about that woman that wallace marries then that is an ENGLISH actress by the name of Catherine Mccormack.

  • @chelsealoz

    Thank you.

  • I am An English man 100% and I feel like shit when I see what we did to our Scotish Friends. It is happening all arond the world oneday we wil wake up and find out that we are fighting for nothing we are killing ourselves for nothing just pure stupid anger.

    There is no God

  • @wearenotalone2012 lol shut up you idiot. Times were very different back then. Medieval monarchs always sought to expand their territory. Edward I is often seen as one of England's greatest kings of the medieval period.

  • @wearenotalone2012 You're right... when you think about it, I don't know any country that has not committed some horrible things. America murdered thousands of Native Americans, England did this, etc. It's sad, I am not judging the entire country because of it, England is a great place, just... so much death in history. I hope someday we can look back at history and find more peace, and no death. One of the saddest things? Murderers out there, and yet good people still get the worst diseases.

  • @Emmercedes SO eh you know of TWO countries???

  • @wearenotalone2012

the human rass will never wake up.

  • @wearenotalone2012 England has done some bad things, but it has also enriched the world. We're much better off for having the English nation.

  • Great tunes, amazing movie and music!!

The song's heart, literally breaks in two and out poures all the love, all the guilt, all the tears and built up emotions for those you care about, spills over and infests your entire system, living you paralysed, shaking and trembling with so much love and awe, that your heart grows 5 sizes, and suddenly it cannot muster it any longer..
