Am I the only one who is kind of confused by the lyrical content, I mean one of the core selling points for eve is how it's a player-run universe with scamming and piracy being viable forms of player interaction, and the song basically states they're moderators and they're going to ban people who do these things.

How about instead of using an acceleration gate there's a mission only wormhole? Or spatial rift? How about a combat mission where we join up with an NPC or even a small gang of NPCs, who follow and assist us, and by keeping alive we earn another bonus?

My point being: there are a multitude of little ways CCP could spice up missions and even add interactivity with NPCs using some less boring AI. Incursion 1.5 did nothing to improve missions for me. It only made my past standings grind seem utterly worthless.

It's "A BIT" easier. Any decent 3 months old players already knew how to deal with this anyway. Where is the depth in this to begin with ?

Having a more even payout between level 4's agents will help spreading people around. Less people in a single system will lower the CPU hit on the servers... that's the main reason behind this change I am sure :)

Also - I'd like the old manufacturing window back - WTF would I prefer the option to add more minerals (where will they come from immediately? Buy on market for a high price? Mine or collect more minerals without leaving the station somehow?? Magic???) rather than reduce production runs as it used to be? Total logic fail...

How can you tell it wasn't broken ? Having massive amounts of people in few systems is bad CPU Wise. Do you know anything about the servers load anyway ? 100 people in a system is not the same load as 10 in 10 systems :) CPU consumption is exponentional...

Also the agent system is being revamped anyway, so it's still work in progress. More to come by the end of june :)

@startide People want max returns on their time. Since system sec is the sole remaining determiner of agent's quality (of the same level), people are moving to 0.5 systems with level IV agents, no lowsec within the same constellation (or at least further than one jump away, as most missions don't go further), and a nearby tradehub if possible. This leaves less desirable agents that under the previous system where agent quality could make a higher sec agent worthwhile.

@startide Furthermore certain corps now have no decent or even any combat agents at all, after some divisions that gave a mix were made courier only.

One only has to checkout agents using the in-game map and NPC corp agent listings after the change to see this is the case. Naturally missioners are doing this and moving to new better locations. My shuttle and industrial sales have skyrocketed since the patch as a side effect. Pity I'm now in a more crowded system than before the patch.

@EVErommel Most of that stuff is done on their time off... It's also a good way for teams that usually have a very high workload (despite what you might think) to cool off and have fun together.

Overall it's good for their morale and it helps building up the team together.

So despite what you may expect, it's good for the overall progress of the game, even if it has nothing to do with the code.

Finaly, most people have no clue about lag or whatnot, those people are not all developpers.
