I can imagine that for gaijins living in Japan, the expectations of the taste and quality of American food is lowered to the point that you enjoy it anyways. But, in the back of your mind you know that it wouldn't even compare to some local places you went to growing up.
@mullyandtomoko mully I think it's called Anthony's pizza if you had pizza at the food court at the camp Zama army base. Very close to state side and priced well.
I like that when you say the pizza on the base was 'real Pizza hut', Mrs Mully starts describing it in terms of size, but for an American, I know what you mean: it's a different kind of pizza made a different way with a different taste...
I'm really missing pizza here in Japan. (And specifically Pizza Hut!) :( I plan on eating some when I go visit Hiroshima because I think there are some Pizza Huts there.
PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!!! WANTS!!!! I have plans to splurge on California Pizza Kitchen at Tokyo Dome when I am next at a concert there XD then again maybe it'll be packed with a concert going on lol
I usually take a paper towel as my plate that's it. ^^ A plate does seem wasteful in the case of pizza! XD
I live in Brooklyn, my pizza places are the real deal. Pizza Hut/Dominos/PapaJohns are considered crappy because of the local places. If you want I can make a response video showing off good old Brooklyn Pizza.
I love pizza either way =) That sauce looks awesome too! Pizza HUT in Japan!?! NO way! Is it expensive like every other pizza in Japan? Tweeting this video =)
Hahaah!!! Y'all trashy people. Ill just bet your couch is full of pizza bones. LOL!

I swallow the whole pie. It depends. I sometimes use a plate, sometimes not. I'll put the pizza down on a plate or napkin if I'm multitasking.

@FindMeInKurume Pricing and toppings similar to every other pizza shop here. Big let down.

I usually use just cheap paper plates with Pizza, easy to clean up. I hate the pizza around here though, it all tastes like cardboard.
