Look, I'm not even a big hip-hop fan, but when I was younger this was just the thing here in Houston, TX. Popular rap tracks got "chopped & screwed", and played when you were with your friends drinking or w/e you did for fun. Rap was always around me even if it wasn't my thing, but that's how it was and I can say I enjoyed those times. I thought "chop & screwed" was popular all over the U.S.? Was it only Texas? Grew up with the sounds, and it sounds bad ass to me still.
