Cayman S "Porsche Design edition" exhaust sound

Makes me cringe when people get into cars an redline the engine while cold. That car is not even broken in yet and cold. You are doing damage. That's why I hate have dealers touch my cars when they come in. They have no clue how to care for cars. I guess showing off for the camera was worth it.

the smoke is normal for a 6 flat motor.because cylinders lay in oil. a construction thing. its a bit oil,what was burned after the motor stand a longer time. it calls boxerfart.)))

I hope that nobody else bought that brand new, not even broken-in car that you had to rev so hard that it smoked (if your modern day Porsche does that, you've done something wrong). That's just reckless...

@aethrus the cause of the smoke is that the car is equiped with optional DIRECT FLOW sporty exhaust system. and short 4-second rev sessions for a porsche engine (which servicing interval is 25000 km) is such a joke i won't even go into details on this :)

Besides it was not my idea to rev it, a guy from the dealers was doing it before i even came near the car and offered me to try it too once i approached )

@aethrus Exactly. These porsche dealers have no clue. For the most part these guys are driving a prius so what do they care when 'asshole porsche buyers' buy a car they are dicking around in. It's like they say... if you sell em you can't own em, so they have 0 respect for the cars they sell.

Thx for comment. This particular design edition was equipped with an optional "sporty" exhaust system (u can actualy hear how it sounds in "sport" mode first and than in normal mode). Without it it's the same as in cayman s.
