i think izusu was a HUGE threat to all the other car makers...........and sadly the others killed it off so they cold "succeeed" how american of them :P

Those were darn good trucks too. I had one as a delivery truck at my job at the time (1990-91) and the Isuzu Pup would carry the payload and take the abuse. GM killed Isuzu like every other brand it took over.

If I remember correctly, this was the last, if not next to last "Joe Isuzu" commercial ever made (not counting the 2001 reintroduction).
