What speakers did you put in the cab you made? I currently use an orange 4x12 and don't care for the 6505+ paired with the orange V30 4x12 I have... Thanks for the vid and gnarly song \m/

@gtrraider84 I am with you. Vintage 30s do not work well with the 6505+. The 6505+ have an already prominent high end "shrill" and the Vintage 30s accentuate that to the point of darn near making your ears bleed.

I switched to Eminence Texas Heat speakers in a Mesa Boogie compact 4X12 half back. The speakers have more of a thicker mid range than VIntage 30's and cut back a bunch on that "shrill" 6505+ are notorious for. Great metal tone.

I still can't find an amp with a better rhythm tone than a voodoo modded 5150 II I've had mine for 5 years and can't find a suitable replacement for the price. Got my 5150 II used for $530 and paid $295 for the standard mod. Fixed all my complaints about the amp and sounds far better on recording than before. Love it! Most people don't use it and I have removed the name and back wood on it so you can see all the way through. Added some LEDs lights too. Thing looks and sounds beardly!

@Mauhadeeb28 what all did the $295 mod consist of??? and how does it differ than the stock amp.. i did the cameron mod to mine.. have you heard those.. and if so how does it sound compared to that mod..thanks sick tone.. how much total did it cost to ship and get modded??? thanks

@tc8849 The voodoo amp website has all the specifics. I did the standard mod. For the money, it is far superior than anything at comparable price.

As far the Cameron Mod, I am unfamiliar. I'll do some tonal research on it and get back to you.

Just replace the two "(DOT)" with "." and get rid of the spaces next to them.
