@laffer35 The power supply you will find in any music store in your country. Cost you about 15 euro. Don't use a converter. It simply runs on a DC 12V (I think, or 9V) supply which is really easy to come by and cheaper than a converter. MIDI to USb cable will do the trick. Edirol and MAudio do some good ones.
@dentunes I'm using Wingroove with the Roland MT32 option on and even though the sound is great it has nothing on the actual Roland MT32 device (i sent a PM to you and since the Youtube is private you have respond to that PM) the Sierra help pages website gave me a program that allows me to click an icon to load this game without typing anything and I find my NES USB controller work well for moving my character over using the clumsy keyboard interface keys. ScummVM works with MIDI too.
Totally awesome, man! Thanks for that little "tutorial". I'm trying to get my hands on an MT-32 and maybe this will help when I try to set it up with DOSBox. I think the MT-32 versions of the soundtracks give the games so much more depth. I think the general MIDI versions have a certain charm that I remember as a kid when I played Quest For Glory and King's Quest, but I didn't know what I was missing.
@ziochicho Sounds great. If you have any questions let us know. General MIDI in some games are better though don't have the character that the MT32 has. I hook up my gigging keyboard (Korg PA800) to get General MIDI sound and use it the same way as the MT32 (Through MIDI). Good luck with your search. I paid $60AUD for my MT32 about a year ago. eBay is your friend.

I just got one of these in the mail but I lack the cables to connect it.
I'm guessing I'll need some sort of midi to usb cable and I also need a European power supply for it (came with a US one)... or maybe a converter.
Can't wait to try it out :o

Finally got it connected properly a few weeks ago now, really cool listening to the various MT-32 soundtracks.

@laffer35 Great to hear! I just bought an old Atari ST hoping to get the MT-32 working with it as well.

@DontrelleRoosevelt check out the web site Al Lowe's web site. It has all the music from LSL for download there.

Wow! I wish I could get a copy of the entire soundtrack being played through the MT32. Just incredible.
