  • man. i had the coolest jeep ever. and the thing was actually pretty big too. i wish i had mine going this fast

  • i took a 6 volt jeep apart and put a lawn mower battery 12 volt in it. Wondering how to make More voltage and more speed. Also studded rear wheels

  • 0:24 i thaught the girl was stickin middlefinger LOL

  • HEY, That's Really neat. He is learning to counter-steer at such an early age.

Here is a true story. In my little boys red corvette I put three bigger 12 batteries in parallel. Not much faster but ran forever. One day a city police pulls up in drive way with his trunklid up. He gets out, gets my son from back set. gets red vette from trunk and comes straight to me. Jordan was ratted by old ladies way down the street. Cop was PO'd!! , said next time i'm going to jail, No SHeet!!!

  • how do you connect the dewalt drill battery?

  • Then later, tramatic brain injuries... Idiots, if you are gonna soup em up, give em a helmet...

  • Thwn later, tramatic brain injuries...

  • son: Dad can you get me from the hospital

    dad: WHAT HAPPENED?!

son: I ran in the street with my plastic car

  • Woow thats an old school power wheels!

I had one of those when I was like 6-7 years old! Nice to see another just like mine!.

By the way! it runs very fast!

  • wooo ! awesome :D !! but a helmet wouldn't be a bad idea for the driver ;-)

  • the 12v motor can handle it? I tried 6v motor with the 12v makita batt. run great but it's hot and can smell it melting. great job dad

  • im so gonna buy one of these and put a gas engine ito it freaking awsome im almost 4 gotta get a job and and buy one

  • i had one when i was 3 and it ran 80 volts and it wheelied and tobbled over when my dad rode it hahaha

  • well now it's actually worth having!

  • Could you make a how to video?

    My son would love this

  • were did you get it?

  • NIICe where did you get the batters from?

  • @elsenor285f i got the batteries from a dewalt drill 2 x 14.4 volts

  • @2734576 SWEET! I have four 18v drill batteries total and I run my daughters power wheels off of one for a minute or two, then I go back to 12v. we are getting a new one here shortly, so I am going to hook up TWO 18v batteries in series! You do the math. lol

  • @wwjoshdew aswome, besure to post that video, 36volts would be sweet, lets just hope the motors last!

  • @2734576 it would surely melt the wires after a few seconds. But i sure will make a video! I have one up now, but it's just 12v.

  • @wwjoshdew Well it would still be cool to see a power wheel go up in smoke, just watch out for your kids.

  • whats the name of ur daughters power wheels

  • how long does battery last ?

  • That was cool, I hope to do the same for my kids in the future, but add rubber to the tires for better traction....good job

  • i miss those days haha

  • put some four wheeler tires on that and it would chow

  • YOu should make a video on how make the jeep that fast

  • when your kid start driving , you better get an agreement with any tire company....

  • @ermollejuo lol

  • nope just more voltage.

  • Those plastic wheels are slippery on that pavement. The pavement's like ice to those plastic wheels, no grip. Gone within a week? It depends on how well the plastic's made. I have the Huffy Green Machine and the wide rear plastic wheels have lots & lots of life left in them from sliding, doing 180s.

  • Your wife is right.. he should have a helmet on :)

Did you burn out the motors yet ? I did 24v and had to replace the motors after about 10 days.. but now it's good to go :)

  • i wonder what it would do with 2 carbatrries :)

  • that shit yould de powerful but it whould be to heavy

  • maybe but it would be less volts...

  • heres a thought for anyone who upgrades the power on one of these toys, since the wheels spin, try useing skateboard grip tape so as the wheels wont spin as much on the asphalte

  • i bet its rigged up with more that one battery, right, or is it just an over powered battery

  • why your kids are lucky they have those now and im 14 and i cant even get a go cart

  • me eather but im not 14 im 10 but i rode in a 6.5 ingine gocart by my self

  • me 2

my dad said i have to get a friend and all the stuff to make it

  • where u get that battery

  • thos plastic wheels will be gone in week

  • do donuts turn he wheels and floor it son hahaha now thats how you do donuuts haha priceless...

  • i'd be careful with the amount of voltage you put in it. Some of My friends have done this and it started to melt the wires XD

  • Not if he re did the wires so they can handle the power! =D

  • @redrider469 i think its better to put higher amprage wires , the big ones

  • thats fast, i love it!

  • don't 28v burn the engine? if it's a 12v engine?

  • it will kill the motor alot sooner

  • Dude at 0:27 i thought she was flipping you off haha.

  • where do u get a 28 volt battery from

  • well its 2 14.4volt dewalt batteries

  • dam i miss them days I MISS MY JEEP !!!! i had the same jeep as he's my i had a red one that was back in 1997 am 15 now but am geting a real car !!!!! o ya dodge

  • good choice i love dodge!

  • 28 volts on stock elec motor? And it doesnt burn out?

Whats the most youve pumped through it?

  • i've put 48 volts through it but it only lasted about 3 minutes, but it was fun.

  • hey if you still have this, one thing that works really good is wraping the tiers in duck tape. The improvement is astounding :)

  • with this much power if he turned too sharp with that much traction it would roll and he would kill him self

  • I never had that problem with mine :]

  • what traction. i always remebered these things to have plastic tires. :} childhood sounds~

  • sorry i was replying to a comment about wrapping the tires in duct tape.

  • its plastic tires no grip at all theres no chance of fliping that unless u hit something with 1 side

  • had to explain this twice... please read the past comments. i was replying to a comment on wrapping the tires in duct tape

  • @hondafourstroke i dont think he would die hes like a foot high and going 6 mph jogging speed at most letting your kid ride a bike is more dangerous

  • hes gonna destroy his tires

  • imagine what are drivers in the future are going to be like

  • HOLY TITTYS ITS FAST! LOL

  • thats awesome, that jeep has some driftin action when he turns, nice doughnuts,

  • I had that exact same jeep when I was a kid. Man does that bring back memories. My mom ended up giving it to Good Will.

  • LISTEN TO MOM.

You can hear her in the background saying.."he should have a helmet"

cool jeeps arn't as much fun with handicapt kids from a bad roll over !!!!

  • this video is about two years ago, the jeep has a new frame, paintjob and gass engine. Just check out my others

  • dam man u need rubber tires that scaping sound means no traction and plastic tires is bad any way u look at it or just get some silicone caulk and generously apply it to the tires will go alot faster trust me cause u will not let all that spinning go to waist

  • LISTEN TO MOM.

You can hear her in the background saying.."he should have a helmet"

cool jeeps arn't as much fun with handicapt kids from a bad roll over !!!!

  • throw a lawn mower engine on that! 45mph!!

  • pure awsomeness, when i have kids thats what im doing, i see in another comment your making another. just an idea" throw a small full shell on it with a winscreen and doors to give him that real car feel. and it would luck sweet ..... or a semi :P

  • how did u make all the connections Can u make a vid on that

  • well i can only tell you that i just replaced the batteries with 2 14.4 volt dewalt batteries. this jeep has a new frame, see my other vids

  • He is gonna need some roll bars.

  • haaa thats immense

  • just wait till the new one is finished

  • cool
