  • 10 ppl mustve missed the like button bcuz this song kicks ass! (especially the drums)

  • a melhor banda do mundo

  • Vi um show dos caras ontem em Brasília! Absurdo.

  • Umas melhores bandas do mundo! Merecem todo o respeito, pois sustentam a bandeira Rock and Roll mesmo depois de anos de estrada e dinheiro envolvido... As letras estão fodas!

  • One of the most consistent bands of all time. Another killer album? No one should be surprised at all!

  • peng tune

  • i knowe i herd it on tap tap

  • thanks to tap tap, this is my favourite song<3

  • I found this because of Tap Tap Revenge 4. It is the kind of music I listened to before so I'm really glad I found it.

  • @Simenl: That has happened to me often, with several Bad Religion albums. They make me uncomfortable, then I fall in love, and get addicted all over again!

  • skillet? what the fuck is a skillet?

  • @ObamalsAFailure I've never heard of a band called 'Skillet' either; there is a thing called a skillet, it's basically a frying pan(for cooking food).

  • @YaWantTaters Skillet is an actual band, and it doesn't sound like they're playing with frying pans ^^ They're very good, but they sound nothing like this song. I don't know how they came out on this vid °__° Well if you like rock music you should try !

  • @SelijahWay Yes Skillet and Bad Religion, they are polar opposites in their message lol.

  • @SelijahWay Honestly who the hell is Skillet? Nobodies.

  • @JBOPatrick skillet is a christian band the sound like this one except there christians. and thier awesome so back the fuck off

  • this song is so addicting

  • WILD IN THE STREETS!

  • love ittt

  • thumbs up if you found this song because of Tap Tap Revenge 4

  • @antman237 new the band since forever, liked them more when i became an athiest, found this song on tap tap 4. WTF

  • sound so similar to skillet lol

    anyone agree?

  • @VisualHB yeah very true i agree but this is better..... ;)

  • @VisualHB FUCK NO.

Don't ever put a great band like Bad Religion in the same sentence as a shitpile such as Skillet.

  • @VisualHB I listen to both bands, but no way in HELL do Skillet and Bad Religion sound the same.

  • @VisualHB This comment made me yell what the fuck. Lame ass shit rock, and The Best fucking band in the world. No comparison

  • @VisualHB no fuck you

  • It's a nice and lively song. It's on Finlands Radio Rock "Rautaa vai roskaa" -voting which goes something like this in english: Steel or Bullsh*t. Voting for steel :D

  • This song is much better live. MUCH BETTER!

  • This is a fairly simple song but the rhythms of his vocals make it so much more! I wasn't sure how this album would work out, but it's definitely won me over :)

  • @osemaster grows on me more n more

  • @chillyrooster Just can't stop listening :-D Over a month every day, haha !!!

BR is awesome. Incredible how every new release sound and feels like the very first one to me !

  • the only memory that i hold of this band was when they let me hangout with them at our Stop of the Vans Warped Tour 2009 and you know for them being going on for 30 years they are a good band

  • Love this song....especially when they played it live in Cincinnati. Great show

  • This melodic bullshit pisses me off. To me, it just doesn't work for them..... I mean, the music is good, and I would normally like this stuff, but for some reason, I just don't...

  • @imdeffbetta

Have you learned anything? The lyrics are the key to the song!!!

  • @pbrskater26

They are a big part, yes. But, without something to keep me interested, I don't even care about the lyrics.

  • @imdeffbetta

Yeah, there sound has changed a little scence their eurler stuff, their older stuff is great to skate to, but it's their lyrics that helped me open my eyes about how religiosity oppresses the intellectual mind, they influinced me to question creationism and how it's scientificly flawed. No other band did that for me

  • @imdeffbetta well mate you shouldn't be listening to bad religion because you will never "get it"

  • @stdavross666

No Control is my favorite CD of all time. Against the Grain is a top 5, and Suffer is a top 10. They are by far, my favorite band. This CD just wasn't very good.

  • @imdeffbetta yeah sounds like your pretty much the same as me. The old is the best. This CD is better than the last tho.

  • @imdeffbetta no control is an amazing album, but i can never find it :(z

  • finally another love song, sick of listening to broken and infected when i feel like some lovey bad religion, and this one is actually rather happy! :p

  • You can never go wrong with Bad Religion.

  • WOOT!!!!!!

  • Fuck yeh man. Good rebound after the last album.

  • It's very different to some of my favourite songs by them, and although it'll never be a fave, Bad Religion are an amazing, amazing band. I don't rank this album as any where as good as some of their older ones, but...come on... it's Bad Religion! They're better than at least half the shit out there, and they'll never be bad. Maybe it'll grow on me, maybe it won't - it doesn't change the fact that I love this band and have a hell of a lot of respect for them.

  • why does it sound like someone is moving the volume knob up and down during the song?

  • BAD RELIGION AS GOOD AS IT ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE!

  • Comment removed

  • I cant wait to see the concert in SLC these guys are revolutionary!

  • process of belief and into the unknown are my favs

  • November 17th Seattle cant wait

  • Very nice. Catchy. Its mature punk. lol. Love it!

  • I'm gonna make myself suffer. I have this on preorder, but refuse to listen to all of it until I receive it. AND I can't wait to dive into Greg's book!

  • I just heard the entire album on their MySpace page and I really liked it (go there if you don't want to wait to check it out).

Bad Religion still rocks and always will! :D

  • this song is horrible compared to old style bad religion. Generator was my shit.

  • @MrIggyIck There is not a single Bad Religion song I have heard that I don't love. Styles change dude, it's been fucking thirty (30) years... If you're that big of a fan, then just respect it, and enjoy it....

  • Great!

  • This is O.K. Bret still tryin to write pop songs I see....lol.......I wish that guy would just let that go. He writes much better when he is deppressed.

  • @FreedumbFighter28 yeah,,, not the best br song the other song the released is unreal

  • @npoc ---Resistance.......it's resitance brother.....But yea that song is better. I am sick of bretts pop fantasy. Grag has the sence to take that shit elsewhere.. Well it aint pop but I hope ya get the meaning

  • No es una rola muy buena, esta bien pero no sorprendente como muchas otras a las que nos tiene acostumbrado Bad Religion. Espero y estoy seguro que este álbum traerá rolas de esas legendarias, no puedo esperar a escucharlo completo!!

  • KERRANG gave it 5 K's so im expecting somthing good, although this song kinda sounds like they have lost a bit of thier agression so it could just be kerrang liking the melodic end of metal, punk and hardcore but i luv BR so im hoping it's good after seeing them live at reading

  • Its not that they've lost their edge, its just they've moved past their skater punk phase. As Greg G said in past interviews, No One Stagnates. Yes, Suffer was an amazing and highly influential album...but if they made another Suffer would that be much of an accomplishment? Hardly. They are pushing the envelope of punk once again and utilizing their experience and creativity. If anything, they have more edge than ever.

  • @GaribaldiInTheMaking hell ya i totally agree

  • @GaribaldiInTheMaking there will never be another suffer, but as far as bad religion pushing the envelope of punk, i agree but in a differnt way. this song isn't a punk song. just kind of a rock-pop song, but there other song, resistance stance, thats a punk song, and it pushes the envelope. just an amazing band, mediocre song

  • @npoc It may not be punk as you define it but who are you to define what punk is and is not? Are you the authority on what punk is? Kind of ironic don't you think? Pushing the envelope of punk is not limited to one style (contrast The Ramones to NOFX, both punk different styles). As with any form of art, when you give it fine lines as to what it is and what it is not, you limit it. Why limit punk rock? BR is allowing punk to stylistically evolve just as any genre does and should be free to.

  • excellent band,30 years old going great.Going!

  • Have seen Bad Religion 22 times now, looking forward to 23. My personal favorite albums are Process of Belief and Empire Strikes First in that order. Not a fan of this song much but im sure it will grow on me.

  • @dorsetperceptions Wow, I've managed two. That's dedication.

My favorite albums are probably Stranger than Fiction, New Maps of Hell and Against the Grain, not necessarily in that order. The three songs I've heard from Dissent of Man have me really excited, including this one, and especially Resist Stance.

  • Took sometime to get into this, but it usually does with the mellower Bad Religion songs. I still have faith in it being a good album. BR rarely disappoints.

  • Wow, this song really grows on you, didn't think it was anything special at first but for some reason it stuck in my head and now I can't stop listening to it! Guess that's the magic of Bad Religion at work! :D

  • I agree I thought it was ok at first but now I can't stop listening to it I love it.

  • Dont get this wrong but..... THIS SONG IS AWESOME!!!!

  • i do like the new album, dissent of man, downloaded it from leakedalbums.co.cc

  • This is epic :),

they've hardley changed in 30 years, just less Hardcore!

  • Wow :).

At first I hated it and now I cant stop listening...uh I have to say that I am really excited for the new album!!!!

    BR always and forever.

  • "I had a paperback crime running down my spine"

    What a great line.

  • Epic !

  • fuccckkk they have sucked so bad since generator! GIVE IT UP! BORE ME TO DEATH! SHIT!

  • @kingoftheroad554 listen to 52 seconds and shut up.

  • @kingoftheroad554 then why are you bothering checking them out? Go and listen to some other music. Probably to hard for you to understand the lyrics...

    Bad Religion FTW !!!

  • @dulishaEGK I'm checking it out because i wanted to see if the new album would be better than what they have put out in the last 15 years you fucking idiot. Ya good one, so hard for me to understand the lyrics, I'm so offended. douche. P.s. if your so smart explain to all of us what the lyrics mean to you. There first 5-6 albums are great with great lyrics and the good music to back it, not anymore, its watered down, end of story.

  • @kingoftheroad554 I wasn't talking about this track's lyrics I was talking about all the lyrics that came after Generator since you used that as reference. Anyway its up to everyone to decide what they like, I personally think that this is one of the best bands in music history but in the end that's just my opinion...

  • @kingoftheroad554 Man, I couldn't disagree more, I think the music is better than ever over the past few albums. They've started to diversify their sound a bit, but there's nothing wrong with that as long as it's still good, and it is. You don't like Resist Stance?

  • @SoundDefenseRB Resist Stance is a lot better. I just think they have lost thier edge, whatever though. Suffer is the best.

  • @kingoftheroad554 I don't think they've lost their edge per se, like they can write edgy music if they want to, but they just don't do that as much these days. But they still throw us good tracks like New Dark Ages and Resist Stance, so I think they've still got it.

As for the old days, I like Suffer a lot but I prefer Against the Grain, which is where their songwriting skills really started to develop. Anesthesia is one of my favorite Bad Religion songs.

  • imba

  • i LOVE this song!! fo sho!

  • This song is building up in me. Wasn´t sure at first, now it´s gaining some momentum.

  • They still got it. Bad Religion FTW!!!

  • i don't want BAD RELIGION to blink 182ed!

  • These guys have been coming out with the same album for years. I'm dissapointed.

  • i'm disappointed...

  • @ceporamone first time I heard this I was like "wtf is this?" but since then Im starting to think its alright

  • hated it when i first heard it. now i cant stop listening. can't wait for the album!! true legends

  • @Simenl You know i hated bad religion when i first heard them when i was 14 then i realised how good they were.. now i am 24 and have heard everyfucking song, know every song off by heart, bought every cd.. Most amazing band ever life. true legends. best band to ever walk the earth. no debate :)

  • Really disliked this song at first, but it's grown on me!

    Roll on Sept 28th!

  • @AMelancholyDream me too

  • I am yet to hear a "Non incredible" BR song

  • i hope the album will be less commercial than this song, not so good compare to new maps of hell..

  • Dig it.

  • bad religion : the best religion

  • Very melodic, but I don't know if I like this very much. Strange lyrical rhythm... doesn't seem to roll with the instruments quite right. But I remember feeling a bit stand-offish when I heard Honest Goodbye and then really liking NMOH. So hopefully the same thing is going to happen with TDOM.

Either way, it's always a fun and unique experience to hear a new BR album for the first time. It's exciting waiting to hear the first few seconds of audio and then be blown away by the rest of the song

  • Mais um som foda dos Caras! Cada vez as melodias ficam melhores. Bad religion forever...

  • Os caras são demais, este som é foooodddddaaaaaaaaa!!! Bad Religio forever....

  • Mais um som fodaaa do BR, os caras são demais... Os caras evoluem cada vez mais em relação as melodias, sem comentários!!! Bad Religiom forever...

  • AMAZING........GREAT LYRICS AS ALWAYS!!! 30 YEARS !! GO 'BAD RELIGION' !

  • You all act as if every song on the new album will be like this. Quit bitching and be patient, for fuck's sake.

  • I celebrate so many great composers in you tube... gurewitz should learn something from these comments writting teenagers.

  • sucks.

  • excited for a new album from these guys

  • I think it sounds pretty awesome.. A little slow, but listen to harmonies.. Perfect. As usual.

  • @velocityeleven - Exactly. :/ Medium tempo derivative BR. Boring.

  • @deathmachine808 umadbro?

  • This is AMAZING ! Bad Religion still kicking ass !

  • very dissapointing

  • brett stop writing songs, just let Gregg cover the song writing.

  • first honest goodbye now this good going brett

  • Thank for 30 years off good Punk Rock, and i hope BR will make Punk Rock for the next 30 years!!!

  • @BelSka89 haha I don't think 30 more years is very likely, now if it was 29... Maybe :P

  • I am so stoked to see them in october

  • This song sure is different, still a good song though.

  • im 90% sure its across "that" yellow sun

  • Metropolis... octobre... poste 113...

  • I really hope the other songs in this album be a little faster! But the song is ok.

  • good

  • always good to hear new bad religion

  • every album gets FUCKIN better & better & better better & better & better & better & better & better & better & better & for 30 years that is insane well i hope you guys will put out 100 more ablums with in the flowing years. keep makin BAD ASS tunes where we can all tap our feet to and pretend we are all playin the air drums lol. my last thing to say is (BAD RELIGION) #1 for life

  • New Danzig and new Bad Religion. Thank you 2010.

  • I didn't like this a whole lot the first couple times I listened to it, but after listening several times it just gets better and better.

  • Yeah, I think that this is a Greg Graffin song. His is usually more story telling and descriptive, while Mr. Brett's lyrics tend to be a little more chaotic, filled with metaphoric content, and a little less direct.

  • @FlushOverflow It was written by Brett.

  • @HatedAlways okay,just a guess.

  • Greg has an awesome voice!! i think this record will be great!

  • New America and No Substance are not the best BR albums, still with some very good songs...in my opinion there has never been a bad BR album, only "not that amazing ones ;-)" I saw them live a few days ago and I was amazed how good they are live after so many years...I look forward to buying this album and enjoy another great BR album. THANKS for 30 years of great music!!!

  • @78morgoth A-fucking-men!

  • @78morgoth A "bad BR album" is genius by the standards of any other band..!!

  • @78morgoth For me, the best BR albums are Suffer and the gray race.

  • this is much worst then honest goodbye in my opinion hope the album is better

  • Is "Finite" a new song too?

  • Just heard this now, and while it IS radio friendly, it's still miles ahead of Honest Goodbye... if we're keeping score.

Why can't it be 9/28/10 already?

  • For a punk rock band, Bad Religion has evolved as artists, but has still maintained their own uniqueness. Some punks would have you believe that their newer music is "not as good as the older stuff." It's just different. This is a decent song. I'm very interested in hearing the rest of the album. I love the cover of this record.

  • @lazman985 Bad Religion is the Slayer of punk rock.

  • the cover reminds me of the cover of black sabbaths parinoid

  • Sounds like a pop version of Social Distortion

  • This is definitely a Brett song

  • Bad Religions never made a album I didn't like and it seems like this album won't change that.

  • This is one of those BR songs that when you first hear it you think " wtf " but after listening to it more and more you realize that it is typical Bad Religion .

  • New America wasn't THAT bad.

  • this sounds like a return to the new america. this could be a hard sell coming after TPOB, TESF, and NMOH.

  • @oregonflatland Take a listen to the live versions of Resist Stance and Won't Somebody. Your fears will probably be alleviated.

  • @SoundDefenseRB

won't somebody is not impressive at all. resist stance is okay.

  • @oregonflatland Just okay? It's one of the best high-energy songs I've heard from them in recent years. You've got seriously high standards bro, maybe too high.

  • @SoundDefenseRB

well it's a good song but it's nothing on par with grains of wrath or god's love or atheist peace. it's really just average. my standards are high because bad religion is the best and they are still defining the genre after 30 years. i don't want to hear another new america - to me that is the most un-bad religion sounding record they've done.

  • @oregonflatland I didn't hate the sound of New America that much, but the songwriting was just badly done. If it's well done, I think it could go well, and this song is evidence of that to me. Either way only 1/3 of the songs we've heard have this sound.

And I prefer Resist Stance to all three of the songs you mentioned. Those three aren't really my favorites; I prefer Brett's songwriting to Greg's, and listening to the structure of Resist Stance I'm pretty positive that it's a Gurewitz sing.

  • @SoundDefenseRB I can bet that Resist Stance is Greg's song, and that this one is Brett's. The lyrical structures usually give them away. Greg is much more direct in his lyrics than Brett is.

  • @VantuProductions I usually go by a song's musical style, and to that end it sounds much more like a Brett composition than a Greg one. Maybe they collaborated?

  • I like the song, but i dont think i like it coming from BR

  • @RA2725 that's exactly how I feel, lol

  • Man the more I hear of this album the more amped I get. Resist Stance is goddamned awesome and Won't Somebody is great, and now this song is also great.

  • Again, Bad Religion impress me. Everything they do just blows me away. Glad I got the No Cross logo tattooed 8 years ago, never regretted it!

  • @G420S hell yeah! i got the boy in flames from suffer tattooed on me. Best decision ever

  • @MrBeardcore Nice, I nearly got that, but decided for the logo. I also have the Pennywise logo tattooed in my armpit, and saw them live on my birthday this year.

  • I really can't decide if I like it or not.

  • American Jesus is still my fav song :) but this band is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hope they tour the US soon :)
