Great Video! Now, how to keep it from the new or inexperienced pilot who wants to go out and "do" the same thing.

@flyoutwest simple solution: if the inexperienced pilot should so choose to go out and "do" said thing, and in doing so that inexperienced pilot makes a poor judgement call, or is simply reckless and incapable of acting in a safe, responsible manner, let that said pilot receive whatever fate awaits him. many an unexperienced pilot has perished while making bad judgement calls, i.e. flying into inclement weather without proper instrumentation or training. at least they would have fun doing it.

I don't think 91.119 was broken. Section (a) says it's fine and section (b) says 500 feet is only needed if you're operating is sparse areas but close to people, cars, or property.
