Like the rapid "give it up, give it up". Creative use of Gm in the bridge.

Strong middle 8. I like that it has a similar feel to the chorus but is just distinct enough to make the listener know the song has progressed.

In a studio mix I think the final D should be more abrupt, sudden. No ringing out, just hit and dead.

I think it is about being an artist who gets a lot of compliments and is cheered on, and who get great expectations.. but never really get any spesific offer to "live it up", so he/she often consider to "give it up"..

Love this one Scribble. I like the muting in this one - great rhythm. By the way, I would buy your songs/CD if you put them on i-Tunes. Not sure how I would like all the other instruments - I like the acoustic and voice the best because of the eimplicity. I think drums are overrated for the most part . . .not always of course.
