Thank you for all of the info on the National Underground. You paint a much better picture for those of us who have yet to experience it for ourselves. I sure hope that one day I can make it up that way. Would be really great if Gavin was singing!! The one time I've seen him live was a small venue, but, this seems so much more intimate.

Anyways I had the greatest time at the Highline ballroom !!

I also plan going to his concert which will take place on Aug 27 2009 at Syracuse, NY.

It was an after party for his concert earlier that night. I have mad respect for Both him and his brother how and where they find the energy to perform as much as they do is beyond me! I highly recommend The National Underground to anyone that finds themselves in NYC. Best burger I EVER had, a totally non-pretentious atmosphere, reasonable prices and just plain awesome!

he did, i didn't recognize much thou. Im guessing that the songs were either from the new album, or just jammin. but it was fantastic.  and the after party was gr8. The music, people, and food all 4 star!

"The National Underground" where this was shot has 2 floors, each with it's own flavor. The floor where this was shot has a old saloon style with a touch of down south blues & old west to it. The effects are to bring the visual experience as close to the ambiance of the room it was performed in:)
