:( I didn't get to eat Poptarts as a kid as I wasn't allowed to eat them.I lived with my grandmother and she was strict about carbs and sugar( this was long before Atkins was popular) so most of my breakfasts were bacon, sausage, and eggs. It wasn't until I was in my early twenties that I got to eat tarts.

I'm from 1976, and I watched this commercial growing up too! The "so hot, they're cool," and that big neon sign at the beginning brings it all back.
