NO BRACES DONT HURT PUTTING THEM ON!!!!!!! u can c a little girl getting them on and she didnt even flinch!!! Its just your mouth might be a little sore about 4 hours later but thats it!! :) and your tooth brush will b your best friend for a couple years so if u dont like to brush yout teeth ull have 2 get ova it!!!!!! :D hope i could help!! :)

I'm getting braces in two weeks and I've seen these videos were theres a really noticeable change in like a month and I half! Goodness.

@luv2tumble100 Oops haha guess you have them...after a while, yes they do "hurt" because your teeth are being pushed around and all. Sometime within 2-7 days it'll stop. I just got braces and an expander yesterday so yeah. Good luck!

@HurdleGirl1 it didnt hurt when i got mine pulled out, they put numbing in your gum around the specific tooth they are taking out. so it dosent hurt at all. just a little tugging. thats all:D

@sahelsahel1 well when you 1st get them they annoy you but like after a couple of days, its like you havent got them in because you cant feel them :) && you could see some of mine, but no one noticed tbh && we called it a retainer, i dont know a propper name, sorry :)

my teeth DRAMATICALLY chanqed in just 5 months . my top set were overly spaced and i had buk teeth . my bottom set were overly cramped and twisted . and a huqe gap betweet my top and bottom teeth . and a tad of an over bite . now there perfect :)

Here's a little advice for all you people with braces: when you get your braces off, wear your retainer. I wore mine for the first few months but eventually I stopped and now my teeth are kinda crooked again. Not as bad as they were but they're still noticeably crooked. Luckily for me, I don't care. And another thing: don't be surprised if while you're getting used to your retainer, you can't find it when you wake up. I often found it at the other side of the room or in my hair.

Haha, my teeth are EXTREMELY crowded, like very crooked in the front, so over the summer I'm getting 6 adult teeth pulled (4 wisdom teeth, 2 premolars) and then I'm getting braces called powerchains? Apparently they'll straighten my teeth within a month. I'm so scared for the surgery but excited that by the end of the summer they'll be straight!!!

They don't numb you. The procedure is basically cleaning your teeth, glueing the brackets on, pitting the wire in, an then elasticks. Dosnt hurt one bit until you get home and try and eat something. Lol

ive had my braces on for 3 frikkin years.. since august 28 2007..! my bottom 3rd tooth from my molar is fused to my jaw bone.. yeah after surgery placing a bracket under my gums and trying to yank it up everyweek after 3years they noticed it shouldnt be taking this long.. which btw i told them and they finally figured it out when i got my wosdoms taken out ! finally things are moving along and im not going to have a tooth there.. yay ... so kinda know wut u feel like when u got 4 teeth pulled

@nesserine25 Well, i dont know if it will work for you. Everyone is different. But for most of the time, braces do wonders. You can ask an orthodontist about your teeth.

You know i recommend enamel reconstruction. It's where they flatten out the enamel of the tooth to make the surface equal and more cosmetically attractive.

@prinstephany When I had braces, they told me to brush my teeth after every meal within 5 minutes after I ate. They told me to floss once a day. My teeth got really white- so white, that people noticed and asked me what I did. All I could say was that I brushed my teeth. When I got my braces off, I went back to just brushing them a few times a day and flossing. Now, ten years later, my dentist can't believe how healthy my teeth are.

I wish I can do this video too, my teeth went from SUPER crooked to nearly straight! The braces adapted to my mouth and it feels like it was never there.
