Couldn't disagree more Wayne! But I love the latest CD. Saw them last month @ Wembley and was blown away - and I'm an oldie who's seen Pink Floyd et al. Couldn't fault the music and thought the claw was amazing with it's myriad of lighting effects The huge screen meant even the nosebleed seats had close-ups and loved the way they played to all sides. Magnificent brought me to tears! Good mix of old and new. Sunday Bloody Sunday steamed into Pride and the crowd roared. Simply stunning!

Saw them in Toronto on the 16th.

There was a lot of hype before the release of their latest album which is their worse cd.

And compared to the Zoo TV tour, this 360 thing was the pits.

Big deal, they had a big tent support that held speakers and a cute video system.

Where was the showmanship?

Sad to say but U2 is sliding down the tube.

If they had competition like Pink Floyd or Zeppelin they wouldn't get all the praise they're getting. When you have no competition it makes you look better!

I'm going to Toronto for their September 16 show. I had tickets for the Zoo tour back in the early 90's but I couldn't get a baby-sitter for my 2 year old daughter (single dad) so now she bought me tickets to this one and we're both going.

Went to this gig last night...over whelming crowd think the band felt that also! Thought Bono was sounding the best he's done for a long time..maybe the short break in the tour helped) Asa a band in fine form although Edge made some big goofs in 'Stuck in a Moment' if anyone noticed..I certainly did! It seemed to me (as a guitarist) he had detuned the acoustic (which sounded awsome) to get a more 'open chord' feel but was maybe still getting to grips with playing it slightly different.

Amazing stage...almost dwarfs the performers :) Perhaps the 'designers' should have kept that in mind. But then, sitting thousands of miles away, in Pakistan, and viewing it on a 15 inch laptop screen, is not quite the best way to judge. Right? :)

I was there tonight by virtue of someone else not being able to go. Have never considered myself a fan but i've been converted. Spectacular show, inspirational experience...their passion for performing is so real you can almost touch it. Blown away!

Oh come on, they suck now. The new songs are garbage and the old songs they are not even playing well. I rather watch an old ZOo TV concert than the garbage they doing today.
