i agree their media does go overboard but the english media never once said england WOULD win the world cup, that is an urban myth invented by people in this country. the english media only said that if they played to their maximum they had a chance. i dont see anything wrong with that.

Also which world cup were you watching? just about every english media had england winning the thing B4 a ball was kicked, hence the "victory" parade on a bus

@Drjimbillybob the victory parade was only booked in advanc in case they did win so the city of lonon was prepared to cope with such an event. im sure the likes of spain, holland, germany, brazil etc would have had similar contingancy plans in place but as usual, the scottish media made out it was some arrogant move on the english's part.
