  • Thanks alot! I'm trying out for schools in NYC!

  • This only works for the first question in each logic game

  • Yes, as the video mentions several times, you will use this technique to answer the first question in each set of games. By using this technique, you find the correct answer much more quickly than if you tried to diagram it.

  • You are welcome.

It has been a long time since anyone called me 'young', so thank you.

  • this makes logic games seem so easy!!!

  • @MissGlamarellaaa "Easy" is an overstatement; I'd say this technique makes the games 'easier'.

  • The first answer is usually very easy but the ones after that are horrible especially when it says IF A comes before E then which one can be fourth. I have no idea how to draw a diagram for that.

  • If you need to pay an instructor to tell you how to eliminate the wrong answers, law school is probably not the best place for you anyways?

  • is it normal for me, a 13 year old girl to be voluntarily taking lsat prep extremely early? or do most kids do it this early?

    thank you

  • Actually this is the most obvious way to answer the question, to me at least. Diagram is really helpful on the other questions.

  • Really great technique- but yeah what about the other questions? Isn't this where the diagram would be helpful?

  • Definitely. You are always going to have to diagram to some degree.

  • I am surprised this is not the most obvious way to answer the first question... From day one I have always gone with this method.

  • I shall get this book, this technique is great!! I am already improving. Thanks!!

  • i learned this as "grab a rule". works well. very fast

  • thanks

  • Great advice! Anyone prepping for the LSAT can check out my LSAT Blog for free LSAT tips and tricks, updated weekly.

  • Excellent video. You are unlike the 95% of persons out there with useless information. And, you do not have an annoying voice/mannerism typical of that 95% crowd. Well done.

  • Great Jesus....may god give this man a 100 childern for the knowledge he has invested and deseminated from this medium. I dubb theee, "The Father of process of elimination" aka LSAT boinker!

    Good day sir!

  • This was so great and made the test so easy, I am interested to finding more of your video's :) Thank you!

  • Great technique!!! Works Well!! Digram is certainly more time consuming.

  • Great technique! I love it! The downfall is it can only be used if the first question asks for a complete and accurate list of all of them in a certain order. So if you get an LSAT booklet that has those on there then great, If not then you still have to know how to diagram. But I do love it, thanks for sharing. I can get the answer correct, but not so fast; so this has helped my speed. Please post more we are watching and learning!

  • True, it can only be used on one specific question type, but that question type is the first question for three of the four sets. This is true for most LSATs in the last 15+ years (and is true for the most recent LSAT in Sept. 2009.) There is never going to be a golden bullet technique that will always work, that is why you need to learn how to use all the techniques and tools—and when to use them.

Don't worry, speed comes naturally as you become skilled at diagramming.

  • this allows anyone to get 4 questions right in no time, so you dont have to do every game, just 2 the 2 easiest games, and do the 2 first questions of the hard games

also i had a practice test that had 2 complete list questions in the same game, it was a 3 game practice test for me because of it, thanks for the vid!

  • ahh im nervouse i take it on dec 5 =(

  • preciate it.

  • This method works usually just for the first question.

  • wowowow this test looks too easy

  • Thanks--probably the best tip I've ever seen.

  • More vid's.....This is a good tactic for the LSAT.

  • do you offer Get Prepped classes in Ontario, Canada?

  • can you show us more videos please :D

  • BUT, what about the other questions after the first one, then you surely need a diagram!

  • Yes, you will need to diagram subsequent questions.

    This technique serves 2 purposes:

1- It gets you a correct answer faster, and with less chance of a mistake, then diagramming.

    2. It helps you make sure that you are on the right track as you tackle the rest of the questions.

There is no technique that allows you to entirely avoid diagramming the questions, but this one is a big help.

  • This would also be a great technique if you answered three of four logic games, done well, and only had a minute left to do the fourth logic game.

  • Of course, there is a limit to how much you can improve your LSAT score.

In my experience, the Kaplan course was a ripoff.

  • oh process of elimination, i know this

  • Normally, one rule eliminates one answer choice. Sometimes there are only three rules, so one rule is used twice.

No LSAT tip is effective every time, but Rule Violator Answer Elimination is one of the most reliable techniques you will find.

(Shameless plug warning) If you are looking for a games book, check out Get Prepped's "Ace the LSAT Logic Games" at Amazon. It's a good book, it has 500 pages, 71 practice games, and the 8 most recent offical LSAT games, all explained in detail.

  • I hate drawing out diagrams. This video is helpful. But, How do you know if 1 rule corresponds to 1 answer? Is this a bullet proof method?
