In Islam, Allah has many names, but that does not mean God is as many as His name. Likewise, God is One in Being. (For example, you and me are two different beings, two different people. But sometimes you feel one in being with your family) There are no other gods. But God has made Himself known to us through Jesus Chris so we are forgiven, and makes us holy through the Holy Spirit. They are One in Being as God, not Three. We do not worship them separately, because they are One.

the 99 you refer to are not even names for God in islam. These attributes to God like: merciful is an attribue; loving is another and so on. There are 99 attributes, not 99 separate gods.
