  • It's now the night of Thanksgiving Day 2010, and, such a great song to listen to now that the day is thru! :)

Thank you for posting this! :)

  • one person dislikes?? How can you not like this?

  • ;)

    ThanKX

  • Do you have anymore? This is just so cool!

  • Thanks for posting - this song is awesome.

  • this is a beautiful, soulful song by one the finest pop songwriters -the studio version is much cooler as it''s got a mid-60's Motown feel to it - and great lyrics. Just a beautiful wistful melancoly - and on that I sign off now go listen to the stuido version wht you have that bird and pie!- Happy Thanksgiving to all !

    Cheers, Mrmarriottsgirl ..

  • This is a great song. I can't believe there aren't more songs about Thanksgiving.

  • Genius is so rare these days....

  • This brings up bad memories.

    But superb song song nonetheless.

  • Totally agree.

It's unbelievable that Ray played Glastonbury (acoustic tent) and hardly got a mention in the press.

He is the master, no question.

    God Save The Kinks !

  • Great, thank you for this, now I have something to be thankful for, even before I leave Friday for Tampa, Florida for the start of Ray's US tour! I suggested to Ray that he and Bill rehearse this song for the first few shows right after Thanksgiving down in Floida, so let's see if we get it? - Ray is my hero. - Frank Lima, The Montvale, New Jersey Hillbilly Boy
