  • Can any body tell me what is that chord that everybody in all vocals exercive videos keep playing after they've played the scale?

  • @SunnyAnthem Just a normal major chord isnt it? First of the scale you played before then the one for the scale you are going to play.

  • loving you delivery

  • Thank you veryyy much Mr Brett Manning - man u hv a smooth delivery - inspirational )

  • COOL!)

  • anyone else instantly think of skyrim when title says mastering the voice?

  • CEGCEGFDBGEDC (in other words, Do Mi Sol Do Mi Sol Fa Re Ti Sol Mi Re Do). You turn around at the G above high C. It is exactly an octave and a half.

P.S. There is no C# in this if you are singing it in the key of C.

  • Someone should take 1:21 and loop it for ten minutes or something.

  • I'm not even about to do these exercises in my car! I could imagine the look on the faces of the drivers beside me, when they look over at how silly I look. I'd probably get the law called on me for possible drunk driving. These exercises are like being with an ugly chick, they are fun and can help, but don't tell your friends.

  • aaand we like the new 'intro' music :)

  • That awkward moment when your roommate walks in while you're doing vocal exercises.

  • Lookin good.

  • C E G C D G F C# B G F C# C Starting on middle C and reversing after G over high C.

  • what are the notes of this scale ?

  • one eye looks different way

  • when i read the title i thought he was referring to the voice in skyrim

  • @rawstarmusic - Now the focus part depends on the singer. I for one sing way better when I'm not thinking about technique. Too much focus can cause stress which can lead to strain or tightening of the throat. It's good to be relaxed.

  • I use his stuff all the time. You should check out my videos!!

  • I don't have a car, I must do this exercise on walk (or annoy my neighbors) Repeated exercise should give strong muscles and control. But it must also give resonance and a fine tone. I must always add a chord-closure exercise cause they're like half open all the time and it takes away strong resonant sound.

  • @rawstarmusic Not only that but it will improve your cord's memory as well. Which could be the most important.

  • if you singing classical, it is more like 2+ octaves that is needed.

  • you're singing too much in your nose... that's detrimental to vocal production.

  • i'm going to try that
