I really don't understand why people say that shredding is crap, because it has no soul. For people like Rusty one of the key elements in music is its speed, that's how he shows his emotions and he wants his music to be fast and aggressive, which means that there is soul in his music. Same as art, when you look at expressionism, you might think that it's just a randomly drawn lines, whereas the painter wanted to create a whole world and put his soul into it.

Last time i checked yes. But the prophecy is only used for effects he said. But from what i heard he's now using peavey's 3120 amp.

ok... im 17. not middle aged. and your argument is completely besides the point since obviously alot of shitty musicians get famous. he has technique, but his writing is clearly shit. and since i have what i consider "all the technique i need", i am currently focusing on vibrato, phrasing, and writing. that douche obviously just wrote music to show off his shredding so sorry if i think he completely blows.

I just sold my Jeff Loomis 7 string so I can get this guitar. I can't wait to have a USA made guitar again and not a piece of crap Korean made schecter. The cheapest I can find it is $1899 though.
