Whoever put this video together went to a lot of effort, and really did their homework. This is better than documentaries that you would see on free to air, or Discovery, the History Channel,and so on, because it cuts to the chase, and is packed with researched,factual findings from start to finish. It has a compelling chronological synthesis about it -it takes no undue liberties with the facts - and it stands in stark contrast to the reams of jibberish which so many hoons tend to upload.

I love this guys videos. They may just be theories, but he always puts enough in there to make you see why its a possibility. I think one part that is missing is snow ball earth and how it made the Cambrian explosion seem to come from nowhere. When the earth was covered in ice, some species must have survived and adapted. When life suddenly became very easy, these hardened organisms exploded into the new world. This may take away from the DNA theory, which is awesome and thought-provoking btw.

Look here the bible is a really good guidline to what is wrong and what is right and what is good and bad. Evidence against RADIOMETRIC and CARBON-14 dating.
When taking into account the different types of plants which discriminate against Carbon dioxide containing 14C (local vegetation carbon leaching into fossils/rocks etc). Also, the 14C/12C in the atmosphere has not been constant i.e. Volcanic, industrial age, atmospheric testing of atomic bombs, weakening of the Magnetic Field, Genesis Flood, Plant Decay and mineral absorption all of which would cancel out isotopes used for comparisons.

Regardless of how modern technology and mathematics can get give us exact details, or even remotely close dating periods, it would be impossible to know exactly how much carbon within the mass that formed earth to begin with, not unless you could prove and date the mineral/molecules as made up entirely 100% carbon. Your radiometric dating fails on that account alone!

All you need to know is how much of 14C there was in atmosphere/cycle and we DO know that because there are several independent sources that SAVE that data which has allowed us to calibrate the whole 14C scale accordingly.

As I've already stated, I can not believe that some scientists could be so speculatively or mathematically accurate in their carbon in the atmosphere theories so long ago as they state, especially if minerals were formed from older star matter, which I do believe until proven otherwise.
Minerals forming from whatever star matter have no effect on 14C dates. Half-life of 14C is so short that within about 50,000 years practically all 14C has decayed which means that 14C can not be dated older things than about 50,000 years. 14C forms in atmosphere and after that decays. So we need to know how much 14C there was in atmosphere in any point of time in order to carbon date things accurately. And we know that because there exist several sources that "save" such data.

Dendrochronology. We can date tree rings, knowing which year their formed (because we can count them back in time and using overlapping pieces of wood the tree ring pattern has been reconstructed back to over 10000 years). Then we can compare the measured dates with dates that would be the result of 14C amount did not change, and the difference between those allows us to calibrate the 14C method.
There are several other similar things that are used. Basically we need to use things which age is known from different sources (like structures formed in annual cycles, like treerings), and then date them and compare the results with predicted results in no-change scenario.
Using tree rings the 14C dating has been calibrated back to about 11,000 years. U-Th dating of corals has been used to calibrate it back about 30,000 years; U-Th dating of glacial lake varve sediments back to 45,000 yrs
And back to 50,000 years using ocean cores from the Cariaco Basin, which have been calibrated to the annual layers of the Greenland Ice Sheet.

Before scientists start to use anything as dating method, huge amount of research is being done and during the use of a method the research continues and possible error sources are eliminated. They do not just take something and "assume" something and then start to use it. Have more trust in scientists. They are NOT idiots.
Stories about how "unreliable" dating methods are you can read from blogs of creationist liars because dating methods are the worst enemy for anyone who has baseless and fixed idea that world must be young. In modern science there exist "their theories" only in very narrow and specific fields of science, about some specific problems. Such things as theory of evolution etc are not any more "someone's" theories, they are general knowledge.

The idea is that on our planet there are some forces that erase the craters slowly... like erosion, vegetation etc. You can't say the same thing about the Moon for example or Mercury...

I love this guys videos. They may just be theories, but he always puts enough in there to make you see why its a possibility. I think one part that is missing is snow ball earth and how it made the Cambrian explosion seem to come from nowhere. When the earth was covered in ice, some species must have survived and adapted. When life suddenly became very easy, these hardened organisms exploded into the new world. This may take away from the DNA theory, which is awesome and thought-provoking btw.

Evidence against RADIOMETRIC and CARBON-14 dating.
When taking into account the different types of plants which discriminate against Carbon dioxide containing 14C (local vegetation carbon leaching into fossils/rocks etc). Also, the 14C/12C in the atmosphere has not been constant i.e. Volcanic, industrial age, atmospheric testing of atomic bombs, weakening of the Magnetic Field, Genesis Flood, Plant Decay and mineral absorption all of which would cancel out isotopes used for comparisons.

Regardless of how modern technology and mathematics can get give us exact details, or even remotely close dating periods, it would be impossible to know exactly how much carbon within the mass that formed earth to begin with, not unless you could prove and date the mineral/molecules as made up entirely 100% carbon. Your radiometric dating fails on that account alone!

As I've already stated, I can not believe that some scientists could be so speculatively or mathematically accurate in their carbon in the atmosphere theories so long ago as they state, especially if minerals were formed from older star matter, which I do believe until proven otherwise.

Minerals forming from whatever star matter have no effect on 14C dates. Half-life of 14C is so short that within about 50,000 years practically all 14C has decayed which means that 14C can not be dated older things than about 50,000 years. 14C forms in atmosphere and after that decays. So we need to know how much 14C there was in atmosphere in any point of time in order to carbon date things accurately. And we know that because there exist several sources that "save" such data.

Dendrochronology. We can date tree rings, knowing which year their formed (because we can count them back in time and using overlapping pieces of wood the tree ring pattern has been reconstructed back to over 10000 years). Then we can compare the measured dates with dates that would be the result of 14C amount did not change, and the difference between those allows us to calibrate the 14C method.

There are several other similar things that are used. Basically we need to use things which age is known from different sources (like structures formed in annual cycles, like treerings), and then date them and compare the results with predicted results in no-change scenario.
Using tree rings the 14C dating has been calibrated back to about 11,000 years. U-Th dating of corals has been used to calibrate it back about 30,000 years; U-Th dating of glacial lake varve sediments back to 45,000 yrs

Before scientists start to use anything as dating method, huge amount of research is being done and during the use of a method the research continues and possible error sources are eliminated. Don't forget that there are many millions of scientists in the world and the best way to make yourself respected among scientists is to find mistakes and errors from the work of other scientists. So scientists are constantly reviewing everything that they discover or do and therefore errors and mistakes get usually discovered quickly.

@TheTantanski A lot are on the ocean floor and you can't see them, while the majority of land crater remnants are hidden by vegetation, and some of them are still visible. The idea is that on our planet there are some forces that erase the craters slowly... like erosion, vegetation etc. You can't say the same thing about the Moon for example or Mercury...

The fact is that it happends very fast only on Earth, because there are more contributors to erosion than on other planets. Erosion happends on ocean floors too, you know... And if there's a chance I'm mistaking, I would like to hear YOUR explanation about the missing craters on Earth...

Ocean floor is constantly being destroyed and new ocean floor is forming due to plate tectonics, so the old craters in oceans do not exist any more.
Others are buried under huge layers of sediments, eroded etc.
