@slg524, I don't think dark-skinned Indians necessarily hate themselves just because they want to be either white or to have a lighter shade of whatever they are. Many non-white people are NOT attracted to other non-whites who are very dark-skinned. Most of the women are see on magazines are white. I guess they are the frist choice.

Who is forcing them to accept white or any other color as the standard of beauty? I see absolutely no evidence to prove it. People are capable of thinking for themselves.
