if what your trying to say is that the jonas brothers rock, then go away and dont come back. if your trying to say that the jonas brothers suck, then i agree
jonASS brothers suck. they'll never be as great as Led Zeppelin. you may be one of the most stupidest fucks on earth if you think jonas brothers are better than zeppelin. fuck off you joe-hoe.
im a queen fan but love led zep too i find it insulting that the "jonas brothers" are even being compared to these sorts of bands they havent done or achived anything for music there are utter shite
Seriously are you stupid? Bonham is the drummer and Page is the guitarist. Why would you even say Bonham sucks at guitar if he does not play one? And if you mean Jimmy sucks instead of Bonham you are an even greater idiot.
Is it possible that anybody would even mention the Jonas brothers in the same conversation as Led Zeppelin? 2 years from now, nobody will even remember the Jonas Brothers (New Kids on The Block...N'Sync...etc.)
The numbers don't lie. Jonas brothers suck. Maybe if they invented there genre of music, wrote there own songs, could play them themselves, could sing, or could make music with less than 7 people in the band they wouldn't be so bad. But they can't. So they suck. Case closed.
You can't deny that not only didn't they invent the music their playing, write it themselves, and play it themselves, instead of having somebody write songs that are copying decades of generic rock songs while people backstage play drums, guitar, and bass while the Jonas Brothers sing. If all Led did was write their music, couldn't play a note, they would still be better. They invented Rock and are the greatest band ever.
I'll i'm saying is that the sheer brilliance of creating rock and roll would put them ahead of the jonas brothers even if page had no fingers and bonham had no arms.
He was the greatest drummer to ever live... At least Led Zeppelin didn't have Page play chords and have some guy backstage play the guitar parts like the Jonas Brothers do. 8 Year old girls are attracted to them so they put them front and center so they can strum chords while somebody actually good at guitar plays. Page was either the best or second best guitar player ever. PLUS he wrote his own music and it was the first ever. Jonas bro's have people write them music that other people play.
are you fucking kidding led zeppelin invented not only rock and roll but they handed heavy metal to the 80's on a silver platter. Go fuck yourself they were not only amazing players but visionaries as well. Not to mention 3 of them were the best on there instrument ever and another was top 5 of all time.
Led Zeppelin is probably the best rock band ever. Thank god for Led Zep. Because all the good rock bands that came along after them were greatly influenced by Plant, Page, Jones, and Bonham. Bonhams drum skills are incredible. Just utterly amazing. Or... Flawless.
beliveit or not moby dicks guys right here has to have a pawerfull strenght on arms and legs cuz u do need a lot of condition ur like 7 minutes or longer nonstop fuking the drums lol
t0 me zepellin is what a band should be like i mean bonham on drumas fukin amazin!! plant on vocals hly shiit!! page on lead guitarr !! and john p. jones on bass?? i miis this kind of rock i mean im 18 and listen to everything from victor wotten to kid kudi buuut dude these were reeeeeaaaal bands not shit like lada gaga or tokio hotel or fuking stupid ass slipknot....anyway awesome song xD
To those of you who misunderstood what I said, I am not laughing that hendrix died, just laughing at what passes for music now days...I may be old and a "generic" rocker...but Im still appreciating these icons of rock.
I am 100 percent in agreement with you. Music now a days is just pure garbage anyone with a couple of friends a kit can play. It takes no skill what so ever to make it in the top charting artist all because you can play 5 notes on guitar can drum the very basic style and can sing about a girl or money.
After Led Zeppelin's reunion gig on dec 10th in 07, Jason Jimmy and John paul jones i think wanted to create new material, Plant just declined and wished them all the best of luck, no more new material :(
Wow....you young ppl...blow me away....so much to say and yet, nothing to say....lots to learn just by listening to Zep....take a step back and listen to everything Zep did b-4 you make comments....After hendrix died....I just LMAO
Early Blues Roots of Led Zeppelin sounds like it would be a good addition to my Zeppelin catalogue. I LOVE listening to them live, when I got the BBC recordings they were in my radio for two weeks straight.
John Bonham was Influenced by Keith Moon and Ginger Baker. You cant compare John to Keith, how the fuck would you? Keiths technique was that he didn't have a technique, hes fucking all over the place when he plays. John had power and a feel for the groove and shit. Neil Peart is Neil Peart, he knows everything about drums and then some. All of them are amazing and absolutely motherfuckers on the drums.
your right Bonzo Moon and Neil did have different styles and they are argualbly the best drummers to live but I think Mitch Mitchell is also up their with them. He was the drummer when Jimi Hendrix was performing. Also this might be the best drum solo ever
All 3 drummers, Keith Moon, John Bonham, and Neil Peart have differing styles that really aren't comparable. Keith Moon was known for his fills and beats that broke convention. John Bonham did an amazing amount of work on such a comparatively small kit and did some amazing rolls. Lastly, Neil is able to master the use of an extensive kit and create all types of rhythms as well as percussion for multiple styles (prog rock, jazz, etc.).
TL;DR they're really about equal in different ways.
I've had full on battle-like arguments with a friend who stubbornly insists that The Who were an all around better band than Led Zeppelin, and that Led Zeppelin only became popular because of songs that they stole from other bands, and I think she's completely bat-shit crazy because of it. I feel you 100%.
if anyone should be blamed for stealing songs it should be elvis, i dont think elvis wrote a sigle song. ur friend doesnt know wat he's talking about haha zeppelin is the greatest band in the world :{D haha let him know that haha
Lmao, I never did see how the origin of songs is more important than the feel the performer imparts to it. And Zeppelin IS the best band ever to grace the planet, I will never hesitate in agreeing. XD
I wish we could have John Bonham, Keith Moon, and Neil Peart in a drum-off. Rush is my favorite band, so you know where my vote goes, but it'd be epic.

Throwing in my favourites:Buddy Rich, Bonham, Paice, Baker, Corky Laing, Dennis Chambers, and even Chad Smith, just my opinion, impossible to say who is the best, there are many great drummers.
I've been playing drums for about 35 years. I'm not getting into a pissing match over either player. Both great in thier own way. I just dig the shot of Robert Plant hitting the joint. Check out some Terry Bozzio or Billy Cobham and throw your bullets. Drummers rule because we have more freedom in the music. Keep the groove, but make it exiteing.
92% of kids have turned to pop.If your one of the 8% who like to headbang and disturb the peace copy and paste to 6 videos. If you hit spam your not a real rocker!

John Bonham was a drummer, meaning he really only had chops behind a drum kit. Neil Peart is a percussionist, meaning that he has the ability to play much more than just the kit. Bonham was great but Neil is a better all around percussionist.
when my mom was in about 7th grade she took drum lessons, she went to the guys house once a week and he tryed to teach her to play this, she is bad ass, but she could never get the triplets part of the song, and john bonham is amazing...

Fun fact
Led Zeppelin-200 million albums
Jonas Brothers- 8 million
The numbers don't lie. Jonas brothers suck. Maybe if they invented there genre of music, wrote there own songs, could play them themselves, could sing, or could make music with less than 7 people in the band they wouldn't be so bad. But they can't. So they suck. Case closed.

Two details:
1. Led Zeppelin exist longer than Jonas Brothers.
2. In this time of internet, less people buy the album.
I'm not a fan of Jonas Brothers myself, but this are two facts which you have forgotten.
Personal, I still buy albums. Led Zeppelin II lies afther me, in my personal collection. ;)

I'm not a big fan of modern music. Each time I enter the disco, I always know I must leave asap. A groaning lady isn't what I call music. :p

This phrase I don't understand:
If all Led did was write their music, couldn't play a note, they would still be better.

That's what they're supposed to do during a drum solo. Or take a bump.

I like how Jimmy, Robert, and Jones just let him do his thing and go take a break

John Bonham was a drummer, meaning he really only had chops behind a drum kit. Neil Peart is a percussionist, meaning that he has the ability to play much more than just the kit. Bonham was great but Neil is a better all around percussionist.
