  • Could you give the notes? :)

  • Bloody wonderful. Great job mate.

  • i have this EXACT same accordion xD

  • @strictlyoldschool92 meee tooo! cept mine has seen better days, and has some funky noises going on haha...

  • Wow!!!

  • That was brilliant!

  • where do you get that?

  • where did you buy that accordion please tell me

  • They sell these all over eBay as "toy accordion" under various brand names, but all visually identical. They often run under $20, and so long as you get one in tune they're a steal at that price.

Also note that the accordion shop Irish Dancemaster can rip out the cheap Chinese reeds on these and install good European reeds for $100. Sure it's way more than the box costs, but it makes an instrument nearly as good as a $400 box.

  • I think it's a melodeon, not an accordian mate

  • @RonnieRodentMusic Yes, and a melodeon is a diatonic button accordion.

  • Where can this accordion be found for purchase & how long does it take to lear to play this tune ?

  • Amazing :)

  • I heard a guy on a street corner in San Francisco playing one of these and he was amazing. I went out and bought one, but I haven't learned much more than yankee doodle.

  • oh wow! thanks for that demo. i'm getting one today!!!

  • How much was that? slash where did you get it?

  • Look on ebay! They're not badly priced!

  • I have an accordion just like that one and I can play a couple Newfie Tunes and Sea Shanties on it, but nothing that good.

I can't get my left hand to use those drones to make it sound any good. You're a toy accordion master.

  • Thanks, but I'm not really. And these are pretty hard to play right out of the box. I am "overhauling" one now, and it should play more easily. Keep trying!!

  • @sqwzbox can you share why us the partition, or at least the basic button # thing, like:

    2 3 4 5 6 7 1 3 5 6 6 2 5 6 7

  • generally its in c

i brought one like this too

it does 14 notes starting at middle C up i think

  • i just bought a five-dollar toy accordion off ebay. it didnt say what key it came in, so i assume it's either a C or it can play any scale. am i right? because it looks a little like yours, but i still have no idea how to work it or anything.

    one more thing

what notes is it capable of reaching? like a middle C to one octave higher? or two? or do you know?

    thanks in advance,

    Silence

  • i found this online.

"Usually made of durable metal, cloth, and plastic covered wood just like a full sized unit accordion. Plays E.GCEG.C.E on the push stroke and .A.BDFA.B.D notes on the pull stroke and also has an Harmonic Chord and a Bass Chord in addition to an air valve."

  • feck, it sounds complicated.... i'll learn i guess... haha...

    Cheers!

  • Just look up accordion sheet music. then go to images there you will most likly find some.

  • You are the king of the toy accordion! Do you know where I can find music for the toy accordion online? I can't figure out what to do with the chord buttons.

  • Wow. I am truly amazed at how good that was. I can't believe how playable these cheap little things are too! I'm definitely gonna buy one now. Great vid :)
