  • The French certainly beat the rest of the world in train technology and infrastructure.

  • train is too fast, uncontrollable, imagine a cow on the tracks or shit, the train would prolly fall into 10000pieces. Nice speed but no safety..

  • 357.1642 MPH that train was moving at!!!

  • Id like to see a cow on the tracks.

  • @cabo02 that will stop the train

  • @cabo02 u wouldnt wanna see it in real life.... trust me

  • @PowerToker420 why not ???

  • Harleyboy33 your country can not afford that ...:). Made in Europa

  • @geobo11 England are in europe.

  • wow

  • *you are now leaving los angeles, and departing for dallas

    -hi, my name is-

*welcome to dallas. we hope you've enjoyed your trip

i swear you wouldn't even have time to take a dump...

  • We need a few of these trains in England -

  • 1:34 the train is so fast that the camera cant even film it :)

  • Take me out to the ball game

  • As fast as Acella Exp! hahah

  • Comment removed

  • holy sh.... you dont want to be chased by that haha

  • 359mph

  • I'm afraid you're correct. Didn't that bozo Jeb Bush persuade the Florida voter to cancel their HST? Or more likely the elections was fiddled with to get he desired result. Like the presidential election in 2000. Sad state of affairs in the US. Thomas Jefferson warned against political parties. And he was sooo right.

  • Excellent. You need a jet to keep up with that. When will these com to the US???

  • @GutenTag7777 Never if the Republican Party has its way.

  • REJECTED!! 2:05

  • That is like JR MAGLEV

  • U.S. Amtrak is better!

  • I bet Mr Beans Mini could beat that!

  • Everyone on board should have to wear a helmet. LOL

  • its the train from firefly

  • vous avez pas des couilles, surtout les québecois

  • Thumbs up if u thought those people were going to get hit at 1:24 x)

  • i bet it would go in china in like 5 minutes.

  • 346 MPH. Now that's fast. Be a while before we get speeds like that in UK.

  • crazy

  • I think it's just a matter of time before one of these trains derails and then it's not going to be pretty.

  • @chicks123 well, that will never happen! Because TGV is an absolute perfection when it comes to safety and comfort of the passengers! And what do you know? You're from the U.S your trains suck!

  • @shomy1990m hahaha!

  • that train is running on Windows Xp.... omg that people is doomed

  • 2:05 lol look at the guy to the left trying to shake hands but is denied ;)

  • Great! I always preferred the TGV over "our" German ICE - particularly due to its flawless safety record.

  • its like the speed of a fucking atomic bomb!!!!! =O

  • Japaneese and french both of you know how to make faster train.very nice and i wanna see faster train in Türkish railways like this. But maybe 50 years later :(

  • OMG

  • OMG!! o.O

  • 1:33 train gets lag

  • I wonder what would happen if you threw a broom stick handle into the spokes of the wheels at that speed? You think it would de-rail it?

  • impossible upp here,, whit all the moose and lapplanders that dosnt no they have to get of the tracs. they must have a gigantic windshieldwiper.

  • The driver looks like Luise de Funes!

  • Well done to those guys! incredible technology and incredible work!! :)

  • 574 Km/h muhaha.

  • HOLY CRAP ! :o just imagine a rock on one of those rails :p at that speed i think the train would just slide INTO A TOWN until it comes to a bloody halt :p

  • @NeDolM wow thats a great idea let's do that

  • โชคดีนะที่รอดมาได้ ประเทศนี้มันชอบทำเพื่อนบ้านไทย เขมรแตกแยกกัน

  • 1:23 to 1:30 is beyond words.

  • Spectacular Superaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab

  • Just imagine of some crazy guy was on the track, That train coming at top speed. You will not find all the pieces, blood & guts every where. Like ripped in to 3000 pieces. He will not feel a thing. It will just be like nothing to him. He will be there then he will be gone, all in a split splat second. like that fly on the camera lends. all his bones will shatter on impact then his hole body will explode out the sides, if you were near by you'd smell the blood in the air, Bloody Mist in the air.

  • @zZZzzzSnooze2nd

Check out Polmont Rail Accident on Wikipedia.

  • @krakenwave Whoa, the cow goes Moo!! Then the cow is gone, what is left is bloody twisted metal.

  • O_O

  • I thought is was 0.40 and splat!..lol...and that train is mmmooovvviiiinnnggg!

  • almost takeoff ;)

  • Oui Oui!!!

  • this is not the tgv

  • If something this fast passed us while trimmin trees id shit,

We have the acels "amtrack" runnin 135mph and were 7ft away on another rail runnin a bucket truck and our shit rocksssssss

    But 300+mph? jesus fuzzy

  • 1:25 sick !!!

  • i like the french - they have brilliant engineers and are very humanely people (and a few crazy ones are inventing trains like this gg). viva la... ;)

  • lol, wow did it break the freakin sound barrier?

  • nice :-)

  • 547.8 km/h = 340.387139 mph

  • I think that this will be the future for distances between europen states. It's faster than to go to the airport wuth checkin and everything

  • yeah on the one hand the french can build trains going >500kph, that nobody needs... but on the other hand they build trains which are unable to pass a tunnel in winter... LOL

  • @gerv8

Hey, you're a car guy. You love cars. Many of the rest of us, however, really would love to have some alternatives to cars. Throughout much of the U.S., where we live, we have few intercity alternatives other than flying and the associated underwear examinations and other insults. We need HST here and it would be revolutionary.

In France and elsewhere where HST has been built, it has been very successful, often killing air competition entirely, such as Paris-Strasbourg, and Eurostar.

  • @MrTruthpatrol

Yes no doubt about that. I didn't challenge this fact in my comment. However it's somehow funny... on the one hand this enormously expensive fun project TGV V150 and on the other hand the Eurostar, build by the same company, which is unable to pass a tunnel in winter.

  • Explain please

"which is unable to pass a tunnel in winter"

    Thanks.

  • @MrTruthpatrol

Ah ok.... probably the US News didn't report about the numerous breakdowns of Eurostar trains in the channel tunnel. There were several breakdowns in december '09 and january '10 because of condensation in the train's electronics when entering the warm tunnel. A few hundred passengers were struck in the tunnel for several hours because of the Eurostar's catastrophic emergency responses.

  • it sounds like a jet

  • there was a jet flying overhead parallel to tracks

  • @Chapstick817 Don't assume anything

  • @Chapstick817 its prob the JET thats flying above the train.....you can see it at 0:40

  • @Chapstick817 It is jet. With wheels.

  • omggg

  • Train < Plane

  • Plane < Train

  • i would like to be in it

  • hahahha 0:38 SPLAT

  • LOl =)

  • Awesome! We need some of those in the U.S.

  • The railroad seems a bit dangerous. The facility is not constructed safe enough for a high speed train to go, because it's not protected by barriers. Anybody can enter the railroad, so it seems so dangerous.

  • Flock of sheep derailed ICE in Germany ones. Collision with cow or horse at 500 km/h could indeed end up in tragedy, yet it does not really happen often

  • All the lengh of the railroad of Japanese Shinkansen, where high speed trains run, is protected by barriers, so no animals or automobiles can reach the railway. So we can feel safety when the train is running at high speed.

This is the biggest difference from TGV.

When the TGV train is running at high speed, I'm afraid some passengers may have anxiety about safety, whether the train may collide some animals or cars.

  • All high speed lines in France are protected by barriers.

TGV also use conventional lines, at lower speeds (maximum 220 km/h - 137 mph), which are not always protected by barriers.

  • However; during this high-speed test run in the high-speed line, most of the the rairoad seem to be built just directly on the ground, not on bridges, without barriers. I felt some sort of dangers, uneasiness, because there is no knowing what may happen in this situation. Am I not right?

  • that"s so fast like a aircraft from an airline!!!

  • top speed 357.6 mph 0.0 holy crap!!!

  • imagine seeing a car infront of it:O

  • damn.. the french sure know how travel fast.. thats great. americans will never get it.

  • Same in Australia, we just don't get it. We recently built the Kahn top speed 80km (46mph). Whoohoo!

  • this is super crazy! i dont want to use this even for free. what if sudden black out or pig on the rail?

  • Erm. Nothing? There would be a little oink and bing and the pig is somewhere in heaven. It's not the same as a car like Bugatti Veyron 408 km/h --> a little stone on the highway and the car flies 100 kilometres wouldn't be funny but compare weight and thickness of a train and a car. You know?

  • damn fast train i ever seen..

  • WOW.

You got to give it to the french, fantastic stuff.

    Merci.

  • 360mph... thats a badass motherfucking fast train!!!

  • Thats why this train is called the BULLET TRAIN. :D

  • About 345 MPH... that's one fast train yo!

  • French equipment rocks !

  • holy shit that thing can cook!

  • definitely no fake man!!! .. it was real world train speed record(not included maglev) ;-)

  • never heard off the TGV?

  • MarcoC1991 : That's the TGV! Train à Grande Vitesse (high speed train in english)

  • i know:P

  • good train and good Tracks too.

  • super filmed

  • Respekt Russija !!!

  • it happened only one time. the train stay on its wheels and all cars still aligned... that was a great ad for the safety of the TGV...

  • 357.1 MPH!!!!

  • i doubt the rails are magnetic since they are using metal wheels.. the max speed if it was magnetic would be 0 kph

  • When it crosses through the countryside, that is the point when you can really see how insanely fast this train is moving.

  • it is not a train it is a fighter jet. 1:15.

  • it cant derail , its magnetic rails

  • No, it's not magnetic. It's a "classic" train.

  • its magnetic -_-

  • No, it's not magnetic. Go read the "Tracks" section of the Wikipedia article on TGV. Also please take a minute to look at photos.

    Thanks.

  • Damn.

Hate to be the one seeing that! lol

How would you feel if you saw it heading for you?!

  • Very beautiful train the best EN57- made in Poland

  • no i chuj :P

  • dobra kurwa nie wkurwiaj mnie...

  • Panie spieprzaj pan oto panu powiem, takie słowa na k tylko znasz prymitywie,

  • Very nice train,an very fast,nice job

  • they should have these trains in the US!

  • we will soon

  • Brava

  • thats sick. wow, that works out to like 360 something mph... crap

  • Google says:

    574.8 km/h = 357.164161 mph

  • in commercial use its only goes at 300km/h

that means it can cross the entire contry (france) in less than 3hours

  • 1:25 = impressive. Hopefully no one will be walking on those tracks when this train comes through, they won't even have time to look up and see it coming.

  • haha :D

  • Sweet video!

  • Excellent....

  • I think I saw Gerard Depardeaux.

  • Would love to see it derail

  • does it always go that fast!?

  • This video simply proves how superior the French are over the Germans.

Everything the French do is better than when the Germans do it.

Even when the French go take a crap the result is better than when the Germans do it.

  • Meh. I'm an electrician. I've worked with two machines who had the same task (deep-freezing). One were french and one were German. I must say, the German one was better to work with than the french...

  • haha I'm french and I like the german girls. Pity ours aren't as sexy

  • i am neither french, nor german, but i like boh german and french pussies. Hack, I like all pussies...

  • lol

  • hope u are not talking about the french crap cars from the 70th...

  • great video. covered all angles.. loved the overpass shot.. that thing flew

  • I wish i could strap a dildo to the front of that thing so it could ram it up my pooter.

  • that would be an incredible video for youtube :p

  • nice

  • tres beau

  • You know that's fast when it makes a noise like a plane.

  • Toujours aussi beau !! On ne s'en lasse pas !

  • 1:26 very impressive!!!

  • I think at 0:36 a bug got squished lol

  • AeroVortex92: "I think at 0:36 a bug got squished lol"

Someone took a dump in the train and pressed the RELEASE button at 0:36

  • I think there would be a lot of accidents. You see the dumb asses who run across tracks with normal trains and almost get hit. They wouldn't even see this thing coming!

  • lol if they got hit you wouldnt even feel the impact.

  • High speed tracks like this don't have level crossings, not only because of the risk of exterme damage at impact with 'something' but also the very long 'approach-signal' time for the level crossings.

  • please build this train between Broadmeadow and Sydney!

  • screw that haha

  • lol, that's how I wanna get to work. XD

  • awesome , special rails must keep this machine on the track ?

  • nope, they ran this on the actual rails used by the regular TGVs

  • holy shit at 1:25!

  • it actually says 574.8km/h

  • We need trains like this in America!

  • there going to down in California a high speed rail system =) i going to ride on it.

  • Yes, but "High Speed Rail" by US standards is anything more than 75 MPH.... Japan is very likely installing a MAG Lev train in the near future, partly because they don't have the fastest train in the world anymore. And nearly every Asian and European country has faster trains than the US has now or will have in the next 10 years.

  • Good Stuff, But sorry French have no style (I'm French -_-')

  • Yeah would be nice..
