GH2 and the oiginal GH have better covers 'cause the games and music are done by Harmonix and Dreamwave, who are MUSICIANS. GH3 is done by Neversoft, who make good games (Tony Hawk) but no way on earth they're gonna be better than Harmonix. That's also why RockBand (the new Harmonix game) is kicking GH's ass now and will destroy GH World Tour. Music games should be done by musicians, thank you very much.

I know he posted on the side that the non clicking is from a direct feed. However, there are ways to mod the guitar hero to remove the g#*d@^n clicker in the guitar, and to pad the buttons to reduce the clicking that they make. I could never stand how loud the guitar is when you first get it, and never understand the need for the clicker. Tends to throw me off rhythm, and I have a good sense of rhythm from playing in a band.

If you know most of the song on beforehand, then you just get more space between each note. You dont have to play faster than normal, or slower.

So thats why it isnt considered a "cheat", since it doesnt help you play better really..

it makes it easier to see notes. I play an instrument, and if it is hard for me to see noted, I either write them in or make the (music) bigger. In a sense, you are doing the second with hyperspeed. Hell, without hyperspeed, I could never get through Psychobilly Freakout or Jordan. Hyperspeed just makes it easier to distinguish different notes and specialties, like hammer on and pulloffs.
