As a chemist I can say that such an attack has 2 weaknesses. Having a 500mL water bottle onto you and pouring it on your face would prevent 100% of face burns and delay body burns by 10 minutes, which is enough to get an emergency shower. Acid wants water, so if you give it water you're fine, and if you don't...well, it will take water from your face and make it look like an ass hole.

@Neptutron Quickest would be manganese heptoxide, a mix of potassium permanganate(KMnO4) and concentrated sulfuric acid (H2SO4). Any organic matter bursts into flames upon contact. It's about 1000x more corrosive than pure sulfuric acid.

You don't have to worry about fluoroantimonic acid, only high end personnel have access to it or its ingredients. Manganese heptoxide is not a problem either because very few people know about the mixture.
