I'm serious Jack, that was one of the best you've done in my opinion! A gem is right! I have my grandmother's old dilapidated Bible, which she kept notes in. Daniel was clearly among her favorite Old Testament books, so that enhanced this song for me even more!!

Thanks, Andy. Daniel is also one of my favorite books. It contains some of the most compelling evidence concerning the accuracy of Bible prophecy. The prophecy contained in this song is actually talking about events that have just recently (within the last ten to fifteen years) been fulfilled and events which are happening right now and some that are very soon to be fulfilled. The fulfillment of Daniel 12:1-3 cannot be far off.
